INCIDENT:    Assault

DATE / TIME: 08/03/2016 @ 1209 Hours

LOCATION:    200 Block of Agnes Lane, Church Hill, MD

(1) COOPER, Diamante Gustavius

DETAILS:      Female victim reported during an argument a male friend had become physical and she had been 9 or 10 times in the head and kicked in the ribs. She then was choked until she lost consciousness.  Upon waking this morning, she attempted to leave the residence by telling the suspect she was going to look for a job. The suspect refused to allow her to leave and slapped her.

 

Victim fled the residence and went to the post office because the suspect was looking for her and stayed there until deputies and paramedics arrived. The suspect was located a short distance away on foot.

 

The victim had visible injuries and was complaining of dizziness. She was transported to Chester River Hospital by ambulance.

 

The suspect was identified as Diamonte Gustavious Cooper (22) of Church Hill who was charged with 1st & 2nd Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. His bail amount was set at $25,000 bail which was posted and he was released.

INCIDENT:    Burglary

DATE / TIME: 08/03/2016 @ 1912 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:    100 Block of Church Lane, Barclay

 

DETAILS:      Victim reported unknown person(s) had gained entry in her storage shed and stole several power and hand tools, and a pressure washer. The tools were valued at over $6000.

 

It is believed that the burglary occurred sometime during the past week.

DATE / TIME: 08/04/2016 @ 1952 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:    300 Block of Surrey Lane, Queenstown

 

DETAILS:      Victim reported several jewelry items were missing from various locations in the home. The items included three heart pendants with diamonds or sapphires, a diamond tennis bracelet, several class rings and assorted other rings. The estimated loss is over $9,000.

 

No forced entry was located or reported.

DATE / TIME: 08/09/2016 @ 1033 Hours

LOCATION:    600 Block of Fogwell Road, Centreville

 

DETAILS:      Victim reported several pieces of jewelry missing from her home after someone forced entry. Items missing included a heavy silver ID Bracelet, an antique white gold engagement ring, an arrowhead necklace, a silver colored cigarette case a Bulova ladies watch and another ladies watch with an inscription on the reverse. Items were valued at $1150.

DETAILS:      Several soda machines were vandalized overnight with the coin and bill boxes missing.

LOCATION:    103 Queen’s Colony Road, Stevensville

 

(2) Damage to Blue Heron

DETAILS:      Workers at the golf course discovered that someone on an ATV had driven on sod and did “donuts” on the course sometime during the night. Damages were estimated at $3000 to $4000.

DATE / TIME: 08/16/2016 @ 1520 Hours

LOCATION:    100 Block of Stillwater Farm Lane, Church Hill

 

DETAILS:      Farm Manager reported that several power tools from a shop in a barn were missing. A DeWalt cordless Impact Wrench, a DeWalt cordless drill and a large Craftsman socket & ratchet set valued at over $500 were stolen over the weekend.

INCIDENT:    Theft from Motor Vehicle

DATE / TIME: 08/16/2016 @ 1647 Hours

LOCATION:    500 Block of Bryce Road, Queenstown

 

DETAILS:      Victim advised her Michael Kors purse with her ID, credit cards, designer sunglasses and other cards was taken from her vehicle while parked in the driveway. The purse & contents were valued at over $500. It was also reported loose change from her vehicle and her husband’s work truck was also gone.

During a canvas of neighbors, another victim was located missing change from the cup holder. No damage was reported to any of the vehicles.
