Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County – K9 Teams

 

Sheriff Gary Hofmann announced the expanding of the Sheriff’s Office K9 Program with the return of K9 Zora and addition of K9 Spike. Dfc. Ahearn & K9 Blek and Deputy Piasecki are on patrol with Dfc. Martz & K9 Spike currently in training. The dogs are Belgian Malinois.

 

In addition a fourth dog is also in training.  A donation from Delmarva K9 has added an 18 month old Bloodhound named “Bella” that will be used for tracking / Trailing missing persons and lost children.
