Incident: Search and Seizure warrant

Date/Time: 06/02/15 @ 0500 hrs

Location: 202 West Water Street Apt #6 Centreville, Queen Anne’s County, MD

Suspect: William Eric Legg (33) of Centreville

                  Dontez Tavon Tingle (34) of Centreville               

Firearms Seized: Mossberg Model 55 12 gauge shotgun 

CDS Seized: 9.9 grams suspected heroin

                        4.1 grams suspected cocaine

                        12 suspected Oxycodone pills  

Synopsis: The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force, assisted by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Team and uniformed officers and a K-9 unit from the Centreville Police Department, served a knock and announce search warrant at 202 West Water Street Apt # 6 Centreville, Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. Forcible entry was made into the residence after no one answered the door. 202 West Water Street Apartment # 6 is the home of William Eric Legg and Dontez Tavon and they were both at home when the warrant was served.

 A search of 616 Main Street revealed 12 suspected Oxycodone pills, 9.9 grams of suspected heroin packaged for street level sales in 8 separate knotted bags, 4.1 grams of suspected cocaine, both crack and powder, packaged for street level sales in 11 separate baggies, multiple digital scales and packaging materials, a Mossberg 550 12 gauge shotgun and mail to the suspects.

   William Eric Legg, who has a long criminal history to include Controlled Dangerous Substance violations, assault and other crimes was charged with the possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, the possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in a school zone, the possession of heroin, the possession of  cocaine with the intent to distribute, the possession of cocaine, the possession of paraphernalia and the possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. Held on $100,000 Bond.

Dontez Tavon Tingle, who has a long criminal history to include Controlled Dangerous Substance violations, assault and other crimes was charged with the possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, the possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in a school zone, the possession of heroin, the possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, the possession of cocaine and the possession of paraphernalia. Held on $40,000 Bond.
