INCIDENT:          Traffic Accident

LOCATION:         Perry’s Corner Rd at Blue Ribbon Ln in Grasonville, 21638

VEHICLE #1:       Matthew T. Burns, 24yo male from Grasonville, MD

VEHICLE #2:       Daniel V. Strunk, 57yo male from Greensboro, MD

DETAILS:             Dep. Sackrider was dispatched to the above location for a report of a traffic accident.  Upon arrival, Dep. Sackrider made contact with both drivers.  The investigation revealed Vehicle #1 crossed the center line and almost struck Vehicle #2.  While trying to avoid each other, both vehicles came off the roadway and were disabled.  Both drivers reported they were not injured and did not require medical attention.  Vehicle #1 driver was identified to be at fault and was cited accordingly.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

INCIDENT:          Burglary

DATE / TIME:     05/30/2018 @ 3:45pm

LOCATION:        2800 Blk of Barclay Rd, Barclay MD

VICTIM:              70yo female of Marydel

DETAILS:           Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 Block of Barclay Rd, Barclay MD, in reference to a past burglary. It was learned that unknown individuals gained entry into the residence on 5/30/2018 between the hours of 10:30 am and 3:20 pm. The victim stated that the suspect(s) gained entry into the residence and stole prescription medication in the amount of $90. Anyone with information regarding this case, please contact the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.
