Arrested: Amber Schmid, 34 yo from Stevensville, MD
Charged: 2 counts of Possession of CDS not Cannabis and 4 counts of Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
On 9/19 at 12:05am, Deputy Gonzalez was conducting a directed patrol in the area of the Chester River community when he located a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of Stoney Bar Bluff Rd. Upon making contact with the driver, Amber Schmid, and the passenger, it was found that neither had a valid drivers license. Criminal indicators were detected; therefore, a K9 scan was requested and a positive alert was given. Upon search of the vehicle, white powdery substance was located in a bowl, along with another white powdery substance inside a plastic baggie, in the vehicle. There were also numerous hypodermic needles with the suspected CDS. Both Schmid and the passenger were mirandized and questioned about the CDS. Schmid advised that the property belonged to her and she was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Linda Marie Fox, from Hartley, DE
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, and Speeding
On 9/17 at 4:05pm, while conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Roe Rd and Rt 313, in Barclay, DFC Schultz observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. DFC Schulz initiated a traffic stop and upon identifying the driver, Linda Fox, Dispatch advised that she had an outstanding warrant through Cecil County. A search incident to arrest revealed that Fox was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and CDS paraphernalia. Fox was arrested and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Christopher Spray, 55 yo from Chestertown, MD
Charged: DUI of Alcohol, DWI by Alcohol, Reckless Driving, and Negligent Driving
On 9/16 at 7:25pm, Deputy Lawler was patrolling in the Church Hill area when he observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations and showing signs of a possibly impaired driver. A traffic stop was initiated and upon making contact with the driver, Christopher Spray, the driver admitted to drinking. Spray was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing which he failed. Spray was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Kaylee Hess, 30 yo from Ridgely MD
Charged: DUI of Alcohol, DWI by Alcohol, Reckless Driving, Negligent Driving, and Driving on an out of state revoked license
On 9/8 at 12:38am, Deputy Smith observed a vehicle partially parked in the roadway near the 4000 block of Main St, in Grasonville. Deputy Smith made contact with the driver, Kaylee Hess and immediately observed signs of impairment. Hess was asked to perform Feild Sobriety Testing which she failed. Hess refused the intoximeter test. Hess was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Jason Ammann, 44 yo from Chester, MD
Charges: DUI of Alcohol, DWI by Alcohol, Reckless Driving, Negligent Driving, and Failure to Obey Traffic Control Devices
On 9/4 at 9:51pm, DFC Colburn conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle speeding and failing to maintain a single lane, in the area of Rt 50 and Rt 213, in Queenstown. Upon making contact with the driver, Jason Ammann, signs of impairment were observed. Ammann was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing which he failed. Ammann was placed under arrest, refused a breath test, and was charged accordingly

Arrested: Taylor Price, 31 yo from Earleville, MD
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis, 2 counts of Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, DWI of Drugs and/or Alcohol, DWI of Drugs, Failure to Drive Vehicle on Right Half of Roadway.
On 8/31 at 7:42pm, Dispatch broadcasted a BOLO for a black Tahoe at the McDonalds, off of Castle Marina Rd, in Stevensville, for a driver that had fallen asleep in the drive-through, woke up, and almost struck another vehicle. Deputy Keller arrived on scene and upon making contact with the driver, Taylor Price, several indicators of impairment were observed. Price was asked to exit the vehicle and when doing so, a wax fold on the ground near the driverโs side door was observed. Price was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing and failed. Price was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle was conducted. An additional wax fold and other CDS paraphernalia were located during the search. Later, Price was brought before the District Court Commissioner and released.

Arrested: Frank Kanady, 48 yo
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis, two counts of Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, Driving on a Suspended License, and driving citation for a windshield repair.
On 8/27 at 8:37pm, DFC Brown conducted a traffic stop for a windshield that was cracked the entire width of the windshield. Upon identifying the driver, Frank Kanady, a K9 scan was requested and a positive alert was given. A search of the vehicle was conducted and suspected Cocaine and CDS paraphernalia were located. Kanady was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Brian Satterfield, 46 yo from Marydel, MD
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
On 08/29/2024 at 9:36am, Deputy Lawler responded to the area of the 100 block of Bear Pond Rd, in Marydel, regarding a parking complaint. Dispatch advised that a caller stated that a white pickup truck was parked partially in the roadway. Upon arrival, Dep Lawler observed a white Chevy pickup truck with a male subject, appearing to be asleep, in the driver seat. Upon making contact with the driver, Brian Satterfield, tiny clear baggies were observed resting on Satterfields lap, in plain view. Satterfield stated that Heroin was in the baggies. A probable search was conducted and 5 tiny clear bags containing a blue wax fold, containing suspected Heroin, 7 opened blue wax folds, a rolled up 20-dollar bill, and a rolled up 5-dollar bill, were located inside the vehicle. Satterfield was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

On 08/24 at 6:52pm while in the area of 301NB/ Warrington Farm Lane, DFC Pack observed two vehicles speeding, ramming each other, and appearing to chase each other down the road.
DFC Pack initiated a traffic stop on the first vehicle and issued a BOLO on the second vehicle. The driver of the first vehicle, Kyran Steger advised that the primary incident began at Fallen Horse Circle where he had been assaulted and had his phone stolen.
Deputy Lawler located the second vehicle in the area of Rt. 213/John Brown Road and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, Jaโsy Anthony Nichols-Roberts, and a passenger, AโBravi-Yon Tโyro DeโAngelo Todd were located inside of the vehicle. Deputy Lawler was advised the driver of the original incident had left the vehicle on foot, and Nichols-Roberts had taken over driving.
Consent was given by the driver to search the vehicle. During the search scales, packaging material, and marijuana over the legal amount for civil use were located in the car.
After further investigation, including a review of surveillance footage at the location where the incident began, all parties were placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Charged: DUI Per Se, DUI of Alcohol, DWI by Alcohol, Driving on Suspended License.
On 8/23 at 12:27am, DFC Schultz conducted a stop on a vehicle for expired tags, in the area of Rt 50 EB and Evans Ave, in Grasonville, for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, Destini Somerville, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was identified. Somerville was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing which she failed. Somerville was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. Later, Somerville advised that she wished to take a breath test and blew a .161 BrAC.

Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
On 8/21 at 7:33pm, DFC Brown initiated a stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign, in the area of Pinder Hill Rd and Main St, in Church Hill, for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, David Freeman, CDS indicators were observed. A K9 scan was requested which resulted in a positive alert. Upon searching the vehicle, a crack pipe with suspected residue was located. Freeman was charged accordingly.

Charges: Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
On 8/21 at 5:19pm, Deputy Stewart checked the welfare of a female walking on the ramp to Rt 50, off Route 8, in Stevensville, towards the Bay Bridge. The female was identified as Elisha Porter, with an active warrant through Anne Arundel County. Porter was placed under arrest and transported to the office of the Sheriff for processing. While searching Porter's belongings, suspected crack cocaine was found in her bag. Porter was charged accordingly and transported to the District Court Commissioner.

Arrested: Lisa Blizzard, 46 yo
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
On 8/20 at 3:51pm, DFC Brown conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rt 213 and John Brown Rd, in Church Hill. Upon identifying the driver, Lisa Blizzard, it was learned that she had a suspended driver's license. DFC Brown requested a K9 scan which resulted in a positive alert. A probable cause search was conducted and suspected CDS and CDS paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Blizzard was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. Blizzard was later transported to the District Court Commissioner's Office.

On 8/18 at 8:17PM, DFC Baer was notified through Dispatch to respond to the 2000 block of Barclay Road, in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, DFC Baer located the driver, Dary Lopez-Escalante, off the roadway and in a yard. While speaking with Lopez-Escalante, DFC Baer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Lopez-Escalante was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing which he failed. He was placed under arrest, charged accordingly, and later participated in the BrAC test and blew a .19.

Arrested: Devin Glover, 46yo from Clayton, DE
Charged: Possession of CDS Suspected Cocaine, Driving w/o a License.
On 8/9 at 11:37pm, Deputy Meehan observed a vehicle on NB Rt 301, in the area of Del Rhodes Ave, in Grasonville, without adequate rear registration plate illumination. Deputy Meehan conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon making contact with the driver, Devin Glover, it was learned through Dispatch that Glover did not have a valid license and had a District Court warrant through Anne Arundel County. Glover was taken into custody and a K9 scan was requested. A positive alert was given and upon searching the vehicle, Deputies found two baggies of a white powdery substance suspected to be Cocaine. Glover took ownership of the suspected CDS and was placed under arrest. Glover was charged accordingly and later taken to the Commissioner where he was released on an unsecured $5000 bond.

Charged: DUI of Alcohol and Driving Without a License
On 7/29 at 1:20pm, Deputies were dispatched to the area of Loverlee Ln, in Queenstown, for a medical call assist for a subject who appeared to be in some type of medical emergency. Upon arrival, Deputies met with the suspect, Amanda Woody, who had pulled into someone's driveway, exited her vehicle, and appeared to be in distress. While speaking with Woody, DFC Keller detected signs of impairment. Woody was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing and due to the results of the testing, Woody was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Charged: Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Warrant Service
On 7/22 at 8:29am, Deputies responded to an โunconsciousโ subject in a vehicle, in the area of Ewing Pond, in Grasonville. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the driver, Jon Leeking, who advised that he was sleeping. Deputies ran Leekingโs information through Dispatch who advised that Leeking had an open arrest warrant through Worcester County. It was confirmed that Leeking had 3 open arrest warrants and was taken into custody. Upon a search of Leeking, he attempted to conceal a glass smoking device used for methamphetamine. Leeking was arrested and charged accordingly.

Charged: DUI of Alcohol, DWI by Alcohol, Reckless Driving, and Negligent Driving
On 7/18 at 11:18pm, Deputy Trader conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain a single lane. Upon making contact with the driver, Steven Lunczynski, Deputy Trader detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Lunczynski's breath. Lunczynski was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing which he failed. Lunczynski was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Ashley M. Lefevre, 37yo
Charged: Possession of CDS not Cannabis, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, DWI by CDS, Driving While So Impaired by Drugs Incapable of Driving Safely, Negligent Driving, and Reckless Driving
On 7/16 at 8:51am, Deputies were notified through Dispatch to respond to the area of Main St and Watermans Ct, in Grasonville, in reference to an urgent check the welfare. Dispatch advised that a female was nodding off in a vehicle while still in drive. Deputies arrived on scene and located the female, identified as Ashley Lefevre, where she showed signs of impairment and CDS was located in plain view. A search of the vehicle located more CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Lefevre was arrested and later taken to the District Court Commissioner.
