INCIDENT:           Disruption of School Activities

DATE / TIME:      09/13/2016 @ 0922 Hours

LOCATION:         Kent Island High School

NARRATIVE:        Message was found in a female’s bathroom advising of a fire and a bomb at the school. Evidence was located of a very small fire in the same bathroom. School officials and law enforcement felt it was best to evacuate the school as a precaution.

With several bomb dogs available in the area today, the school was quickly scanned with no evidence of any explosive device. School returned to normal operation within 2 hours.

Investigation remains open at this time.
