INCIDENT:           Pedestrian Accident

DATE / TIME:      09/22/2016 @ 0808 Hours

LOCATION:         300 Block of Prospect Bay W., Grasonville, MD

DETAILS:              Susan Brady (65) of Grasonville driving a Volkswagen passenger car on Prospect Bay W. advised she looked down at which time she thought she had struck a mailbox. Upon stopping, she realized she had stuck a female walking her dog. The pedestrian, Diane M. Gonzalez (50) was flown to Shock Trauma for what appears to be serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Charges are pending further investigation.  Deputies on the scene advised the dog did not appear to be injured.
