INCIDENT:         Assault 2nd Degree Assault

DATE / TIME:    01/17/20 approximately 5:15PM

LOCATION:       Apartments at Fisher Manor, Grasonville MD

VICTIM:              Juvenile, 6yo Female of Grasonville

ARRESTED:              Andaleeb Khurshid, 25yo Female of Grasonville

DETAILS:                    Deputies from the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County were dispatched to the apartments at Fisher Manor in reference to an Assault. The suspect, identified as Andaleeb Khurshid, assaulted a 6yo juvenile. The assault caused bruising marks on the victim. Those marks were observed and documented by Deputies. The Department of Social Services, the States Attorney’s Office, and the Criminal Investigation Unit were all contacted in reference to the assault on the child. The suspect Andaleeb Khurshid was placed under arrest and charged with one count of 2nd degree Assault. She was initially held at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center without bail.
