INCIDENT:  Found Property

DATE / TIME:  01/30/18 @ 11:35 AM

LOCATION:  John Brown Road near Bryce Road, Queenstown, MD

COMPLAINANT:  67 yr. old white male from Queenstown, MD

DETAILS:   Complainant responded to the Office of the Sheriff where he turned over a found $100 Dollar bill that appeared to be counterfeit.  The bill was located on the side of John Brown Road by the complainant.  Sgt. J. Davidson took custody of the counterfeit currency and has made contact with the U.S. Secret Service to determine if any further action should be taken with the bill.  Anyone with information regarding this information is asked to contact Sgt. INCIDENT:      Unauthorized Use of a M/V

DATE / TIME:    1/31/18 at 11:15AM

LOCATION:        Enterprise RentaCar , 1418 Main St., Stevensville, Md. 21666

DETAILS:    QACSO units responded for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the manager of the business, who advised they had rented a vehicle to a person that was due to be returned on 1/8/18. The vehicle was rented to a Bryon Eader of Grasonville, Md (40YO). After numerous failed attempts to make contact with him, by the business, the police were called. The vehicle is a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox black in color with Maryland registration “ 3CZ9726 “ The vehicle is currently believed to be at an out of state location. Charges are Pending. INCIDENT:  Residential Burglary

DATE / TIME:  01/31/2018 @ 1324 hrs.

LOCATION:  First Street Queen Anne, MD 21657

SUSPECT: Pending Investigation

CHARGE(S):  Pending Investigation

DETAILS:  On Wednesday January 31, 2018 deputies from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on First Street in Queen Anne, MD for a reported burglary and theft. Investigation revealed that sometime between 2100 hrs. on January 30, 2018 and 0500 hrs. on January 31, 2018 unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s home through a door and took money from the female victim’s purse. No damages to the home occurred as a result of the burglary. The total amount of money taken was less than $100. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious persons or vehicles in their community by calling 911 or the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
