CHARGED: 17yo male from Stevensville, MD
DETAILS: While patrolling the Cloverfields community, Dep. Carnaggio observed a red ford escape not come to a stop at a designated stop sign. Dep. Carnaggio initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and upon approaching it, detected the odor of marijuana. The passenger admitted to having a small amount of marijuana and it was seized by Dep. Carnaggio. The driver was issued a traffic citation. The passenger was issued a juvenile citation and released to his grandmother.

INCIDENT: CDS Marijuana Less than 10 grams
DATE / TIME: 2/25/2018 at 1:10am
LOCATION: W/B Rt50 @ exit 40A
Charged: Charles Jacob Naylor – 01/05/2000 18 years old from Centreville MD 21617.
DETAILS: On 2-25-2018 CPL.Martz was on patrol in the area of W/B Rt50 @ Exit 40A when he observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver Charles Naylor. CPL.Martz retrieved his K-9 partner Spike from his vehicle and conducted a scan of the vehicle which resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle was conducted and marijuana in the amount of less than 10 grams was located. A traffic citation along with a civil citation for the marijuana was issued to Naylor and he was released from the scene.

DATE / TIME: 02/25/2018 approximately 1:25pm
LOCATION: 544/Pine Tree Rd, Chestertown MD
SUSPECT: Dshawn Laneer Wilson, 25yo male of Chestertown
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of 544 and Pine Tree Rd, Chestertown MD. Deputies witnessed a blue in color, 2000 Toyota Camry passenger vehicle, with an equipment violation. Contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Dshawn Wilson. While speaking with Wilson, Deputies smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A Probable Cause search was completed which resulted with locating Marijuana. Wilson was cited on a civil citation for the Marijuana less than 10g and issued a repair order for the vehicle.
