INCIDENT:           Assault

DATE / TIME:      02/11/2012 @ 1557 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         Harbour Drive, Chester

VICTIM:                Male Parent of Chester

ARREST:               Male (16) of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:       It was reported that a Juvenile Male (16) had punched a hole in the wall of the residence, punched his father in the face and then fled the house. Prior to arrival, a second 911 call was received reporting that the juvenile was at a location near Cox Neck Road and was reporting being assaulted by his father. Deputies went to the juvenile’s location and transported him back to the residence. Investigation revealed that an argument between the two was over the juvenile’s possession of CDS. The juvenile was referred to Juvenile Services for assault, Possession of CDS and possession of CDS Paraphernalia. He was later released to a relative and removed from the home.

LOCATION:         McDonalds @ Chester Plaza

VICTIM:                Jane Scott of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported while eating at the location, she had placed her purse on a ledge next to the table. When they left, she forgot her purse. Upon returning to retrieve it she found that $46 was missing. Video footage showed that four young looking white males in the area of the purse and one of the subjects appeared to be placing money in his pocket.

DATE / TIME:      02/11/2012 @ 2031 Hours

LOCATION:         200 Kent Landing, Stevensville

VICTIM:                KMart

ARREST:               Whitney Lynn Fleishman (22) of Grasonville

CHARGE:              Theft

 

NARRATIVE:       Security notified the Sheriff’s Office that they had observed a female removing a handbag and pajama pants from their respective racks and continued to shop. When the female to the cash register, she paid for one item, a toilet plunger. She was stopped up[on leaving and had removed the tag from the purse and the pajama pants were inside the purse.  The items had a value of $38.

 

Ms. Fleishman was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office headquarters where she was detained until charging documents were prepared. She was later taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on her personal recognizance.

INCIDENT:           Reckless Endangerment

DATE / TIME:      02/11/2012 @ 2100 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Block of Station Lane, Grasonville

VICTIM:                Ashley M. Jackson

ARREST:               William Robert Hallett (36) of Grasonville

CHARGE:              Reckless Endangerment (2 Counts)

 

NARRATIVE:       Sheriff’s Office and MSP responded to the location for a report of shots fired. Tfc. Bilbrough was the first to arrive and saw the suspect fire two rounds from a shotgun into the air. Contact was made with Ms. Jackson who stated she had been visiting with William Hallett and at one point he told her to leave. When she went to put her shoes on an argument occurred and he grabbed a 12 gauge shotgun to scare her to leave. Investigation showed he had fired at least one round inside the residence and two outside. Ms. Jackson advised that she was in the living room when he shot down the hallway and did not point the gun in her direction. After firing the shotgun it was hidden under a bed and later seized.

 

Mr. Hallett was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office headquarters where he was detained until charging documents were prepared. He was later taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.
