INCIDENT:           Theft from Vehicle

DATE / TIME:      02/18/2013 @ 1327 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         100 Block of Janie Street, Centreville, MD.

VICTIM:               Tim Eubanks of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported his Apple iPod and a gray Jacket with “Blue Bird Recycling” stitched on the front missing from his BMW. The items were valued at $140.

DATE / TIME:      02/18/2013 @ 1422 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         403 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown, MD

VICTIM:               Banana Republic

 

NARRATIVE:        Manager of store reported that on the previous day a bald Hispanic male and a female companion stole 27 shirts as they left the store. The shirts were short sleeved multicolored plaid and valued at $44.99 each. The theft was captured on the video system at the store. The loss was placed at $1214.73.

LOCATION:         100 Dominion Road, Chester, MD

VICTIM:               Kent Island Exxon

 

NARRATIVE:        Store Employee reported finding the storage container at the rear of the business had been broken into and an approximate $500 of beer had been taken. The theft is believed to have occurred during the previous night. The Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate the driver of a red Ford dually pickup that was seen in the area.

VICTIM:               Terence Waskey of Centreville, MD

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reports that his driveway alarms were stolen from his property. The alarms were valued at $200.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported finding his mailbox valued at $100 smashed in. The damage occurred during the night.

LOCATION:         100 Block of Monoponan Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Sharon K. Hoover of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that during the night someone had  banged on their door around 0200 hours and when checked no one was there. In the AM as the victim went to leave for work, numerous scratches were seen on her 2003 Mustang. Damages were estimated at $2000.

INCIDENT:           Assault

DATE / TIME:      02/24/2013 @ 0128 Hours

LOCATION:         201 Wells Cove Road, Grasonville

VICTIM:               Nicholas A. Behr of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported he had left a nearby bar and was sitting in a friend’s car, when an unidentified male approached the vehicle and punched him in the face. Victim had difficulty in giving a description of the suspect but believed he was part of wedding party at the same bar and that group had left going to a nearby hotel. Deputies checked at the hotel and made contact with several persons from the wedding party but were unable to identify a suspect. Behr was transported to QA ER by ambulance for a nose injury.

INCIDENT:           Driving without a License

DATE / TIME:      02/24/2013 @ 0210 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 18 near Grasonville Fife Department, Grasonville

 

ARREST:               Jose Abraham Chavez Hernandez (21) of Grasonville

CHARGE:              Driving with a Driver’s License / Illegal Resident

 

NARRATIVE:        Several members of the GFVD flagged down Cpl. Brockman as he was passing by and told him that a black Nissan had just driven by in rims and were cutting grooves into the roadway. Brockman located the car near Grasonville Cemetery Road. The car had a bare rim, smoke coming from the wheel well and engine and a lot of front end damage. The driver advised he was going to pick up a friend when a tire blew out, causing him to lose control and hit a boat. He then left the scene.  Hernandez also stated he did not have a license and wasn’t supposed to be in this country.

 

Dfc. Fraser assisted and located the address where Hernandez had left the roadway. Dfc. Fraser located a Harley Davidson on its side, pushed under a boat, which was on a trailer.

 

Hernandez was taken into custody and charged with driving without a license, numerous traffic citations and a detainer from ICE.

DATE / TIME:       02/24/2013 @ 1125 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:           100 Block of Tuxedo Road, Chestertown (QA County)

VICTIM: Shannon L. Brady of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim and family reported a jug of coins missing from the residence with an estimated value of $1000 plus a $100 bill. The last time the items were seen was on 2/19. No forced entry had been noted but that a family member had several friends over recently, while they were not home. Investigation remains open.
