INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: 5000 Block of Sudlersville Rd, Sudlersville MD 21668
VICTIM: Male of Sudlersville MD.
DETAILS: On 3/20/2018 at approximately 7:44 PM, Deputies responded to 5000 block of Sudlersville Rd for a past theft. Deputies made contact with the victim and he stated he had a truck bed body in the field next to his house for sale. The victim noticed that the truck bed body was missing. The victim estimated the value of the truck bed body to be approximately $200. A family friend did contact the victim, stating he did see two African American males loading the truck bed body into a tan or gold colored GMC pickup a day earlier on 3/19/2018 around 1:20 pm. They assumed someone had purchased it. If anyone has information on this theft, please contact the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

INCIDENT: Motor Vehicle Collision – Driving Under the Influence
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: 03/21/18 11:38 am
LOCATION: 2700 Block of Busic Church Rd. Marydel MD
NARRATIVE: On 03/21/18 at 11:38 am, Dfc Jarrett responded to the 2700 Block of Busic Church Road for a report of a single vehicle, property damage only Motor Vehicle Collision. Upon his arrival on the scene, he spoke with the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision; a Hispanic male identified as Otilio Morales Perez. During his investigation, Dfc Jarrett smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. Field sobriety test was given and the driver was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office, where he was later released to a sober party.

INCIDENT: Malicious Destruction of Property

LOCATION: Greenwood Community, Grasonville MD
VICTIM: Greenwood Community HOA President
NARRATIVE: On 03/21/18 at 12:35 pm, Dfc Bush responded to Caspian Drive and spoke with the HOA President regarding an online “community concern” he submitted to the Sheriff’s Office. The President of the HOA for the Greenwood community wanted to make the Sheriff’s Office aware of recent graffiti found on a storm drain in the neighborhood. He believes the graffiti was done sometime during the week of 03/12 – 03/17. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

INCIDENT: Burglary and Theft
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: 3/22/18 1834 hours
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Church Hill Lane in Chester, MD 21619
VICTIM: Male of Chester, MD
NARRATIVE: Deputies were sent to a residence located in the 1900 Block of Church Hill Lane in Chester, MD for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a shed had been broken into. A gas powered pressure washer was stolen from inside the shed. The pressure washer is valued at approximately $500.00.
