INCIDENT:           Medical Emergency

DATE / TIME:      04/03/2013 @ 0041 Hours

LOCATION:         Near Evans Avenue, Grasonville

VICTIM:               Male (49) of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to the residence after receiving a call from the man threatening to harm himself. On arrival the man was highly intoxicated and wanting to see God. He was taken into custody and transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for assistance.

LOCATION:         2300 Block of Roberts Station Road, Ingleside

VICTIM:               Dale Larrimore of Ingleside

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported he had discovered his red Suzuki 250 ATV, a smaller unknown make ATV painted in camouflage, four aluminum rims and 4 Bigfoot Mud Tires missing from a storage shed on the property. The last time the items were seen was a year ago due to a standing Protection Order. Victim stated he had just returned to the residence after the other persons had moved out and at that time discovered the items missing. Victim estimated the value of the missing items at $3100.

LOCATION:         300 Front Street, Crumpton

VICTIM:               Delores McCarthy of Crumpton

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported unknown person(s) had stolen her NRA Flag from a flag pole at the end of her driveway. The pole remained but was bent. The flag was valued at $50.

LOCATION:         Matapeake Business Park, Stevensville

VICTIM:               QAC County Roads

 

NARRATIVE:        Workers discovered the windows of a county owned excavator had been broken out after it was left at the location overnight. It appears vandals threw rocks breaking the windows. Damage was estimated at $1000.

LOCATION:         Dominion Road near Good Hands Creek Road, Chester

 

ARREST:               Charles Lester Blackburn III (31) of Chester

CHARGE:              DWI

 

NARRATIVE:        2001 Ford was stopped for speeding on Dominion Road. Driver was identified as Charles Blackburn III. Several indications were observed by the Deputy and Field Sobriety Tasks were requested. As a result, Mr. Blackburn was placed under arrest for DWI. He was issued a citation for DWI, warning for speeding and released to a sober individual at the scene.

DATE / TIME:      04/06/2013 @ 0242 Hours

LOCATION:         Main Street, Church Hill

VICTIM:               Male (23) from Church Hill

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies were dispatched to area for a suicidal person. They located him on RT 19 walking in the road. Subject was upset over issues with a female. Further investigation located a note with instructions on burial and distribution of insurance funds. The man was taken into custody and transported to Chester River Medical Center.

LOCATION:         500 Double Creek Point Road, Duck Neck Campground, Chestertown

VICTIM:               Jeff Hastings of Eddystone, PA

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported on arrival to the campground he discovered a 32 inch TV, a Phillips Stereo and a battery from a jet ski missing. The last time he was at the location was November of 2011. The items were estimated at $500.

DATE / TIME:      04/06/2013 @ 2332 Hours

LOCATION:         3101 Main Street, Grasonville

VICTIM:               Best Western Kent Narrows Inn

 

NARRATIVE:        Sheriff’s Deputies responded to location for disturbance. On arrival they located Room 320 with a smashed double pane window and damage to the door. Once inside the room, they also saw damage to the drywall. The female renting the room advised she was in the area for a wedding and a former male friend also attended the function. The male after a few drinks began to argue with her. At the hotel, the male punched the window and damaged the door, and then fled the scene. The female agreed to have damages charged to her credit card and the hotel did not press charges.

DATE / TIME:      04/07/2013 @ 0045 Hours

LOCATION:         Batts Neck Park, Stevensville

 

ARREST:               Male (18) of Stevensville – Pending

                              Male (19) of Stevensville – Pending

                              Male (18) of Stevensville – Pending

 

CHARGE:              Possession of CDS – Marijuana / Possession of CDS Paraphernalia

 

NARRATIVE:        Sgt. Carr was checking the area of the park and as he drove into the area, he saw a grey neon turn it’s lights on and tried to leave the parking lot. The neon was stopped and as Sgt. Carr approached the car, the driver lowered his window and a cloud of smoke came from inside the car. The odor of marijuana was very noticeable and the occupants were removed from the car. A search resulted in various smoking devices, a grinder, rolling papers and a prescription bottle with suspected marijuana. The subjects were released at the scene pending lab results. A parent of one of the subjects responded and gave all three a ride home. The owner of the Neon was told to leave the car there and return when he was in a condition to safely drive.

INCIDENT:           HOME INVASION / ROBBERY

DATE / TIME:      04/09/2013 @ 0751 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         2200 Block of Pondtown Road, Chestertown (QA Co.)

VICTIM:               Joanne R. Hynson of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that the evening before at about 2200 hours, she answered a knock on the door believing it was someone from her church. Upon opening the door, three males entered the residence armed with a small framed handgun and began to ransack the residence. The suspects took a container with an estimated $100 of change, a two pairs of Nike shoes, and the victims cell and cordless phone. The suspect then left in a grey or silver Ford Crown Victoria.  The victim straightened the residence and did not report the incident until daylight. The victim

 

The suspects are described as:

1)      African American male in his 20’s about 6’00” with a thin build, short hair, medium skin tone and spoke with an accent

2)      African American male about 5’10” and medium build wearing dark clothing and may go by the name “DC”

3)      African American male about 5’10” and medium build wearing dark hooded sweatshirt

 

The items taken had an estimated value of $400.
