INCIDENT: Theft under $1,000

LOCATION: Safeway – 1925 Main St., Chester, Md. 21619
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with an employee. The employee advised that a white male, wearing a grey shirt, had loaded a cart with items from the store. After loading the cart, he proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for anything. The employee followed him out and yelled at him. The suspect, upon being yelled at, left the cart and left the area on foot.
