PRESS RELEASE

INCIDENT: Burglaries
DATE / TIME: 07/17/2018 at 01:55 am and 02:50 am
LOCATION: CVS Pharmacy, 115 South Piney Narrows Rd. Chester, MD
Shore Stop, 100 Main St. Stevensville, MD
SUSPECT: Suspect One: Black male, approximately 6-0, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black face mask, and black gloves.
Suspect Two: Black male, approximately 6-0, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a red stripe, black face mask, and black gloves
DETAILS: On July 17, 2018, at approximately 1:45 am, units from the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff responded to an activated alarm at the CVS Pharmacy. Upon arrival, they found the front door forced open. The preliminary investigation revealed that unknown subjects attempted to break into the ATM inside the store.
The surveillance video showed two black males, both approximately 6ft, and medium build entering the store. Both subjects were dressed in all black clothing. Both subjects wore black face masks and black gloves. One suspect had a red stripe on his black pants. The suspects were seen leaving in a white SUV. It is unknown if the two suspects took anything. This investigation is still ongoing.
On July 17, 2018, at approximately 2:50 am, deputies were dispatched to a second activated alarm at the Shore Stop. Upon arrival, deputies found the front door forced open as well. Deputies also found that a cigarette rack located in the store was disturbed. Surveillance footage from the Shore Stop store showed the same two suspects, from the CVS Pharmacy burglary, force open the front door before entering. Once inside the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cigarettes. The suspects were operating a white Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. This investigation is also ongoing.
