NARRATIVE: Sheriff Gary Hofmann reports that on December 13, 2011 the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff received a complaint of a theft from the Kent Island High School PTA (Parent Teachers Association). D/Cpl. Stephen Stouffer of the Criminal Investigations Unit spoke with President of the KIHS PTA in reference to this complaint. D/Cpl. Stouffer’s investigation revealed that the PTA had paid the suspect (Joseph Myron Gill) $325.00 as a down payment in return for Mr. Gill to provide a professional athlete to speak at the Matapeake Middle School on October 18, 2011.
