INCIDENT:           CREDIT CARD FRAUD

DATE / TIME:      01/22/2013 @ 1057 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         Beech Lane, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Susan Marquis of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that someone had made two large unauthorized purchases online using her credit card account. Both purchases were at Best Buy.com and later picked up at the store. The thefts totaled $$3, 389.00

LOCATION:         100 Block of Woodstock Road, Chestertown

VICTIM:               Paul Ervin of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported he was in another room when he heard a large bang. When he walked into the living room he found that someone had thrown a large rock thru his glass front door. Damage was estimated at $400.

LOCATION:         100 Block of Overlook Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Jennifer Gragg of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported unknown subject(s)had attempted to open a Best Buy credit card in her name using her information in December. A Macy’s credit card was issued in January and unknown suspects made purchases New York State buying over $2400 of jewelry. Victim stated she found out about the Macy’s purchase after receiving a letter from Macy’s.

INCIDENT:           Burglary

DATE / TIME:      01/25/2013 @ 1232 Hours

LOCATION:         1000 Block of Burrisville Road, Centreville

VICTIM:               Joseph M. O’Neill III of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported someone had entered his detached garage and a locked tool trailer taking a Poulin chainsaw and a Marlin .22 rifle. Items were valued at $500.

INCIDENT:           ASSAULT

DATE / TIME:      01/25/2013 @ 2014 Hours

LOCATION:         200 Block of Upland Lane, Centreville

VICTIM:               See Narrative

ARREST:               Jade Kirkley Silver (29) of College Park, MD

CHARGE:              Assault 2nd Degree

 

ARREST:               Carol Elizabeth Fox (36) of Centreville, MD

CHARGE:              Assault 2nd Degree

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies were dispatched to the location for an assault in progress call. On arrival Jade Silver reported being assaulted by a Carol Fox during the exchange of child, who Ms. Fox and the husband of Jade Silver have in common. When the two met, a verbal exchange occurred and Ms. Fox allegedly began to punch and pull hair. It was also reported that when the fight between the two women began, Ms. Silver’s husband and Ms. Fox’s parents also became involved to some degree.

 

Jade Silver incurred a black eye and some hair being pulled out. Carol Fox requested EMS and was transported to Chester River Medical Center. All parties were interviewed and advised  to see the District Court Commissioner for criminal charges if desired.

 

Jade Silver filed charges on Carol Fox and a Criminal Summons was issued for assault. Carol Fox filed charges on Jade Silver and a Criminal Summons was issued

For assault. Both females were served.

INCIDENT:           Medical Emergency

DATE / TIME:      01/26/2013 @ 1931 Hours

LOCATION:         Sherman Way, Chester

VICTIM:               Female (36) of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim sent several text messages to a friend who in turn notified the Sheriff’s Office that the female was going to harm herself. Due to circumstances and statements made by the woman, she was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

DATE / TIME:      01/27/2013 @ 1930 Hours

LOCATION:         Taylor Road, Centreville

VICTIM:               Female (35) of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to residence for a reported overdose of prescription medication. On arrival they located a female who was upset and admitted to taking an overdose. She was transported by ambulance to Easton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

INCIDENT:           Medical Emergency

DATE / TIME:      01/27/2013 @ 2346 Hours

LOCATION:         Massey Lane, Church Hill

VICTIM:               Male (25) of Church Hill

 

NARRATIVE:        Family members reported the male was intoxicated and inside a residence threatening to harm himself with a gun. Deputies assisted by MSP Troopers responded and were able to get the man to the door without  the firearm. It was also learned that the male originally did not have a gun, had left the house and returned a short time later with a shotgun. The man later admitted he had stolen the shotgun but refused any additional information. The man was transported to Easton Memorial Hospital by Patrol Car for treatment.

 

The shotgun was placed into evidence and the Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner. Persons in the area are asked to check their weapons and if missing a shotgun to contact the Sheriff‘s Office with the description. The Sheriff’s Office number is (410) 758-0770.
