PRESS RELEASES

 

INCIDENT:         Burglary

DATE / TIME:     07/20/2017 approximately 0700 hours

LOCATION:        3000 Block of Price Station Rd, Centreville MD 21617

VICTIM:              Jerry L. Wicker 31yo W/M

 

DETAILS:    Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Price Station Road, Centreville, MD in regards to a burglary.  The victim reported that an unknown person(s) entered his living quarters and stole tools and copper wire.  The unknown person(s) also entered a vehicle in the driveway and stole a tool bag containing miscellaneous tools.  The items stolen were a white milk crate containing wire and a craftsman pneumatic nailer.  The items stolen from the truck were a Dewalt tool bag with an impact drill, two drill bit sets, and numerous wrenches.  The total estimated value of the tools is $465.00.

INCIDENT:         Vehicle stop

DATE / TIME:     7/20/17 approximately 0740 hours

LOCATION:        Main St @ Rt 18, in front of Friendly’s gas station

SUSPECT:             John Thomas Wader (50yo W/M)

DETAILS:              A red in color, Ford F-150 was traveling south on Rt 18 at the intersection of Main St in Chester Queen Anne’s County. The driver, identified as John Thomas Wader, was seen talking on their cell phone while driving on the roadway. A traffic stop was completed at which time the Deputy was informed the registration was suspended per insurance with a pick up order on the tags. The tags were seized and placed into evidence per departmental policy. Wader was issued the appropriate citations.

DATE / TIME:     7/20/17 approximately 1250 hours

LOCATION:        100 Block of Web Foot Lane, Stevensville MD 21666

COMPLAINANT: Michael Dale Coyner 49yo W/M

DETAILS:              Deputies were dispatched to Web Foot Lane in reference to a lost/stolen trailer tag. The Complainant, identified as Michael Dale Coyner stated he had last seen the trailer tag on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Matapeake Boat Ramp located at 1112 Roamncooke Rd, Stevensville. Coyner stated he does not know if the tag was stolen or if it was lost but needed to report the incident per the MVA.

INCIDENT:           MDOP

DATE / TIME:     7/20/17 approximately 1350 hours

LOCATION:        200 Block of Grollman Rd, Stevensville MD 21666

VICTIM:              John R. Malone 65yo W/M

 

DETAILS:              Deputies were dispatched to Grollman Rd in reference to a MDOP. The victim, identified as John Malone, indicated that as he was leaving his residence he noticed his mailbox was in pieces. Malone stated he had heard a muffled explosion in the early morning hours, however, he did not see any suspicious individuals in the area. The value of the mailbox was estimated at $75.00 and Deputy State Fire Marshal McIntyre was contacted and presumed lead on this investigation.

INCIDENT:         CDS Arrest

DATE / TIME:     7/20/17 approximately 1625 hours

LOCATION:        1925 Main St, Chester MD, Safeway Gas Station

SUSPECT:            Gary Jamal Howard 27yo B/M, of Pasadena

Troy Amadeus Warigon 21yo B/M, of Elkridge

DETAILS:   Deputies responded to the Safeway Gas Station in Chester, MD to check the welfare of two individuals passed out in a vehicle at the gas pump.  Deputies could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle when they made contact with the occupants.  A search was conducted on the vehicle and marijuana was located inside the vehicle.  The marijuana was seized and charges are pending for the suspects.

INCIDENT:      Theft of bicycle

DATE / TIME:   7/20/2017 @ 1609hrs.

LOCATION:    El Jefe Shopping Center Road    Chester, MD 21619

Victim:                   Radall Jiles 50  Homeless no fixed address

DETAILS:   Dfc. Goodman was dispatched to El Jefe for a theft of bicycle complaint.  Dfc. Goodman made contact with the victim whom advised that he left his bicycle chained to a door to El Jefe on Sunday and when he returned on Monday the bicycle was gone.    The bicycle is described as a gray specialized vehicle, unknown make, and model, valued at $650.00.

INCIDENT:          Harassment

DATE / TIME:     07/19/2017 approximately 1320 hours

LOCATION:        Sherman Way, Chester MD 21619

 

DETAILS:             Deputies responded to Sherman way, Queen Anne’s County Chester MD, in reference to a report of alleged harassment and a violation of a protective order. Upon gathering the facts of the investigation, it was founded that no violation had occurred since the protective order had expired.

INCIDENT:          Theft

DATE / TIME:     07/19/2017 approximately 1200 hours

LOCATION:        5400 Main Street, Grasonville MD 21638

 

DETAILS              Deputies responded for the report of a theft. Deputies spoke with the victim, identified as Jason Baker, who advised his Honda Generator had been stolen. The theft occurred between 7/12/17 and 7/15/17. Deputy Bush located said Generator at Fast Cash pawn shop in Annapolis Maryland. A Suspect has been identified and a statement of charges will be completed.
