INCIDENT: MVA – with Property Damage
DATE / TIME: 8/12/17 / 0208 hrs.
LOCATION: 100 Block of Purple Martin Rd Centreville
DETAILS: On 8/12/17 at approximately 0208 hours DFC Cooper responded to the above address in reference to a single vehicle accident that just occurred. Upon arrival he observed a 2002 BMW bearing MD registration 5BK1158 damaged as the result of colliding with the residence. The home was occupied at the time though no one inside the residence was injured. The driver of the vehicle identified as John Reginal Palmer also was not injured but did appear to be under the influence of alcohol. Field Sobriety Exercises were attempted but Palmer advised he was unable to complete the test. Palmer was arrested and transported to the MSP Easton Barrack to provide a consensual breath sample. Damage to the residence is estimated to be near or above $5,000.00

INCIDENT: Past Theft
DATE / TIME: 8/11/17 / 1953 hrs.
LOCATION: 100 Block of Monoponsan Dr. Stevensville
DETAILS: On 8/11/17 at approximately 1953 hours Dep. Myers responded to the above address in reference to a past theft. The resident of this address Michael Kelly advised the deputy that sometime during the last 3 month U.S. Currency (coins) with an approximate value of $300 was taken. Additionally two pieces of silver cutlery (Brand Orleans Silver Sterling Japan) with and unknown value were stolen as well. There were no signs of forced entry. INCIDENT: Update to Thefts under 1,000

LOCATION: 900 block Chester River Beach Rd., Grasonville,
DETAILS: QACSO units responded for a theft of a kayak. This was stolen during the same timeframe and is possibly linked to a previously reported case listed below on (8/8/17 to 8/12/17). This one was also stolen from the rack at the community park. The victim is a Michael Skibbie and the kayak is a Pelican brand, one person kayak, and orange in color. It is valued at $229. LOCATION: 600 blk Chester River Beach Rd., Grasonville,
DETAILS: QACSO units responded for a theft of a kayak belonging to Kelly Doran. It was stolen sometime between 8/8/17 and 8/12/17 from the rack at the community park. The kayak is a Pelican, teal and bright yellow exterior, with a white interior and black single seat. It is valued at $233.00. INCIDENT: Burglary/Theft over $1,000
DATE / TIME: 8/13/17 at 1:30PM
LOCATION: 500 blk Aspen Dr., Queenstown
DETAILS: QASCO units responded for a burglary and theft over $1,000 complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, Pamela Black. She advised that just over $1,000 worth of various types of lawn ornaments and lawn decorations had been taken sometime between 8/6/17 and 8/12/17. Some of the stolen items had been located within the residence. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with info, contact the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

INCIDENT: Theft over $10,000
DATE / TIME: 8/12/17 at 4:52PM
LOCATION: 2500 blk Millington Rd., Millington
DETAILS: QACSO units responded for a theft complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, Kenneth Simpler. Mr. Simpler advised that sometime on 8/12/17 after 3:00PM, an alleged known suspect, stole a Nikon digital camera, black in color, valued at $500 and entered a safe and stole approx. $17,000 worth of US currency.
