INCIDENT:        Fraud/Stolen Check

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            9/25/17       1628 hours

LOCATION:                 Shore United Bank @ Thompson Creek Rd Stevensville, MD 2166

NARRATIVE:               Deputy was contacted by bank officials who reported a person trying to cash a suspicious check. Bank officials contacted the account holders and learned they did not write the suspect a check. This case is open pending charges.

INCIDENT:        Theft under $1,000

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            9/25/17       1133 hours

LOCATION:                 Queen Anne Way Chester, MD 21619

VICTIM:                      CPR Company

NARRATIVE:               Deputy responded to the area for a theft of tools. Deputies made contact with the victim and determined that drill batteries and other power tools were taken from a job site. The loss is valued at approximately $600.00 and this case remains open pending further investigation.

INCIDENT:  Civil Citation (Marijuana: Less than 10g)

DATE / TIME:  9/26/17/0232 hrs

LOCATION:  1600 Blk of Postal Rd in Chester

DEFENDANT:  Wyatt, Jonathan E., W, M, DOB:  1/19/1976 from the State of Indiana

DETAILS:  Deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle behind a business.  Upon arrival, Dep Bush located the defendant.  The defendant reported he owns the business and was there doing some work inside.  During his field interview, the defendant appeared very nervous.  The defendant admitted to just finishing smoking some marijuana at the rear of the business.  Investigation revealed that the defendant was found to have less than 10 grams of marijuana in his possession.  A civil citation was issued.
