INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

LOCATION: Lime Landing Road Millington, MD 21651
ARREST: Jose Everardo Casillas 29yo male from Millington, MD
DETAILS: Deputies responded to the area of Lime Landing road in reference to a subject passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival deputies made contact with Jose Casillas whom was unresponsive upon arrival. Jose was in the drivers’ seat of a 2017 white Mazda passenger car while it was running on the roadway. Based on observations of the deputies he was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was later released to a sober adult.

INCIDENT: Theft / Fraud
DATE / TIME: 01/07/18 @ 03:45 PM
LOCATION: Best Western Hotel @ 3101 Main Street Grasonville, MD
VICTIM: 52 yr. old white female from Grasonville, MD
DETAILS: On 01/07/17 The Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County was contacted by a Complainant who advised that she had found charges on her Bank card that she did not authorize. The charges were made at local businesses in Queen Anne’s County. During the investigation, Deputy Bennett learned that one of the businesses where the card had been used was able to provide video footage of a possible suspect. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

INCIDENT: Suspicious Activity / CDS Violation
DATE / TIME: 01/05/18 @ 03:50 PM
LOCATION: Parking lot of El Jeffe Mexican Kitchen @ 1235 Shopping Center Road Stevensville, MD
ARRESTED: Lamont Kearse (31 yr. old black male from Stevensville, MD)
Charges: CDS Possession – Not Marijuana (2 counts)
ARRESTED: Brian Turek Jr. (27 yr. old white male from Grasonville, MD)
Charges: CDS Possession – Not Marijuana; CDS Possession with intent to distribute
DETAILS: Deputies responded to the parking lot area near the El Jeffe, Chester, Queen Anne’s County for a report of drug activity in the area. Upon arrival deputies made contact with the subjects that were reported to be suspicious as described by the complainant. As the investigation continued, a probable cause search was ultimately conducted of the suspicious subjects and the involved vehicle. Deputies subsequently recovered Controlled Dangerous Substance believed to be suspected cocaine. Both suspects identified as Lamont Kearse and Brian Turek Jr. were taken into custody and charged accordingly. In addition, it was learned that Mr. Kearse had an active warrant for his arrest that he was served with. Suspect Kearse was held at the Detention Center with no bail. Suspect Turek was released on his signature. This case is a result of a County citizen who observed suspicious activity and immediately reported it to the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County .

INCIDENT: Malicious Destruction of Property and Trespassing
(Bent Entry Door and Frame)
 
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: January 6, 2017 at 8:46p.m.
LOCATION: El Jefe Mexican Bar / Restaurant, Chester Maryland
VICTIM: El Jefe Mexican Bar / Restaurant, Chester Maryland
NARRATIVE:
On the above date and time, Dfc. M. Piasecki was dispatched to respond to El Jefe Mexican Bar/Restaurant, Chester Maryland for a disorderly male who was refusing to leave the bar after being asked several times by management and security staff. The male was escorted from the building and attempted to go back inside when security staff stopped him. The male grabbed the door handle and refused to let go causing the door frame and door to bend. The male suspect was located inside the Dollar General store a short time later. After an initial investigation the male suspect was identified and statements were documented. The victim was given a case number and explained how to file charges against the suspect. This investigation is currently active.
