INCIDENT: Theft less $1,000.00
DATE/TIME: 05/31/18 @ overnight hours
LOCATION: Norman Road, Chester, MD
VICTIM: Shepherd Plumbing
DETAILS: The complainant stated that during the overnight hours of 5/31/18, the suspect(s) entered the residence that was under construction. While inside, the suspect(s) removed plumbing supplies. INCIDENT: Forgery/ Theft $100 – $1,500
DATE/TIME: 06/02/18 @ 12:13 pm
LOCATION: Main Street, Queenstown, MD
VICTIM: 61yo male Queenstown, MD
ARRESTED: Jasmine Jones, 21yo female, Queenstown, MD
DETAILS: Deputies arrived at the Shore United Bank in Chester. The bank called the Deputies in reference to a female subject attempting to cash a stolen and forged check. After arriving on the scene, deputies learned that Jasmine Jones stole a personal check from a residence in Queenstown. Jones filled out the check, forged the owner’s signature and attempted to have someone cash the check. Jones was still on scene when law enforcement arrived. She went into custody shortly afterward. Jones was later released from the Court Commissioners on her personal recognizance.

INCIDENT: Traffic Stop/CDS violation/Warrant service
DATE / TIME: 6/01/18 @ 11:19PM
LOCATION: Rt. 302 and Rt. 313, Barclay, Md.
ARRESTED: Armir Watts, 27yo, from Dover, DE
DETAILS: Dfc. Jones was in the area of 302/313 in Barclay when he noticed a black colored Nissan SUV with a headlight out. As a result, he activated his emergency lights and made a traffic stop of the vehicle. Dfc. Jones made contact with the driver, Armir Watts. A check of his license revealed that his driving privileges were suspended and revoked out of Delaware. It was also discovered that Watts had a warrant in Worcester County, Md. Watts went into custody and K9 Drake was utilized to scan the vehicle. A search of the vehicle found marijuana, less than 10 grams. The marijuana was seized and later placed into evidence. Watts received traffic citations for driving on a suspended and revoked license, a warning for an equipment violation and a civil citation for possession of marijuana, less than 10 grams. Watts went before a District Court Commissioner for a failure to appear warrant out of Worcester County. He was released on his own recognizance.

INCIDENT: Theft over $1,000 from a motor vehicle
DATE / TIME: 6/01/18 @ 6:00PM
LOCATION: Food Lion, 300 Thompson Creek Rd., Stevensville, Md. 21666
VICTIM: 59yo male from Stevensville
DETAILS: Dep. Matteson responded to a call of a theft from a vehicle parked in the Food Lion parking lot. Dep. Matteson made contact with the victim, The victim advised that sometime on 6/1/18 between 5pm and 5:34pm, unknown suspect(s) entered his white, 2012 Ford E-350 and stole the following: Nikon camera, Swiss Army bag, Camera reflector, 24-300zoom camera lens, polarized filter, 50mm 2.8 lens, SB950 camera flash, 2 camera batteries and 2 64g flash cards. The total value of the stolen goods was $5140. Anyone with info contact QACSO.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 06/03/2018 @ 5:50pm
LOCATION: 5100 Blk of Main St, Grasonville MD
VICTIM: 62yo male of Grasonville
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the 5100 Block of Main St., in reference to a Theft of a receipt booklet. Deputies met with the victim, who stated the receipt booklet was last seen in his Green in color, 1999 Dodge Truck, on 6/2/18 at 2:00 pm. The victim stated the receipt booklet had an estimated worth of $10.00.

INCIDENT: Traffic stop/CDS violations

LOCATION: Pine Tree Rd and Rt. 544, Millington, Md. 21651
ARRESTED: Veronica Mireles, 36yo, from Kennedyville
DETAILS: Dfc. Cooper stopped a red Chrysler 300 sedan for driving without its headlights on in the dark. Dfc. Cooper made contact with the driver, Veronica Mireles. Dep. Patikowski arrived on scene and had K9 Drake scan the vehicle. A search of the vehicle found items used to ingest CDS along with residue in those items. As a result, Mireles was taken into custody for possession of CDS paraphernalia and possession of CDS – not marijuana. Mireles went before a District Court Commissioner. She was released on her own recognizance.

INCIDENT: Traffic Complaint/Theft under $100
DATE / TIME: 6/3/18 at 2:29am
LOCATION: Grange Hall Rd and Charles Boyles Rd., Centreville, Md. 21617
ARRESTED: Juan Aguilar, 22yo, from Lincoln,
DETAILS: Dfc. Cooper responded to a traffic complaint. Upon arrival, he made contact with Juan Aguilar. Aguilar stated he had run off the road and his vehicle got stuck in the mud. A tow was called to pull the stranded vehicle out. Once the vehicle was accessible, Dfc. Cooper could see a Delaware tag in the passenger compartment in plain view. Dfc. Cooper had the tag checked and it came back as reported stolen from Delaware. Delaware State Police confirmed the tag was stolen. As a result, Aguilar was taken into custody and charged with theft under $100. He went before a District Court Commissioner who released Aguilar on his own recognizance.

INCIDENT: MDOP under $1,000.
DATE / TIME: 6/02/18 @ 8:56pm
LOCATION: Exxon – 100 Dominion Rd., Chester, Md. 21619
VICTIM: 50yo male from Chestertown
DETAILS: Officers responded to a call regarding damage done to a vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim. The victim stated that he was parked in the Exxon parking lot when an unknown subject in a white Ford F250, with an unknown Delaware tag, parked behind him and began honking his horn. The subject then got out of the F-250 and started to yell at the victim and then began to punch/hit the victim’s car (Cadillac 4 door, blue in color), damaging his rear bumper. Afterward, the suspect got into his vehicle and drove off. The damage is estimated at $100. This investigation is this ongoing. Anyone with information, please contact the Queen Anne County Sheriff’s Office.
