INCIDENT: Theft: Under $1,000
DATE / TIME: 7/12/18 at approximately 1:20 PM
LOCATION: 1900 Block of 4H Park Road in Centreville, MD
VICTIM: Queen Anne’s County Park and Recreation in Centreville, MD
DETAILS: Deputy Iman responded to the above location for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, Deputy Iman made contact with the victim. The victim reported that within the last hour an unknown suspect stole a socket set valued at $400. No other additional information was provided. No suspects or witnesses have been identified at this time. If anyone has any information, please contact the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff at 410-758-0770.

INCIDENT: Marijuana less than 10 grams
DATE / TIME: 07/12/2018 approximately 9:15pm
LOCATION: Route 301 Northbound at Route 19, Church Hill, MD
ARRESTED: Tyrone Alphonzo Belt II, 36yo male from Clinton, MD
DETAILS: Deputy First Class Prince was patrolling the area of Route 301 Northbound at Route 19 when he observed a silver 2018 Honda CR-V driving above the posted speed limit. Deputy First Class Prince conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The driver was identified as Tyrone Alphonzo Belt II. While speaking with Belt, Deputy First Class Prince detected an odor of marijuana. As a result, a K-9 was called to the scene to complete a scan of the vehicle which resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle was completed and a marijuana cigarette was located in the ashtray.

Belt was issued the following:

1. A warning for exceeding posted maximum speed limit
2. A warning for driving vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on a highway
3. A civil citation for Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
