INCIDENT: Handgun in Vehicle
DATE / TIME: 12/19/2012 @ 1029 Hours
LOCATION: Love Point RD / Terrapin Grove, Stevensville
ARREST: Joseph Edward Coursey (44) of Chester
CHARGE: Loaded Handgun in Vehicle
NARRATIVE: Deputy Neall stopped a red 1992 Ford Bronco on RT 8 for failure to have a front plate. Further inspection showed the rear plate was displaying a fraudulent registration tab. The driver was identified as Joseph Coursey of Chester who stated that his tags were bad. In the course of the stop Mr. Coursey also advised there was a pistol in the rear seat. A check resulted in the seizure of a .45 caliber black powder pistol which was fully loaded. Mr. Cousey was placed under arrest and charged with the handgun violation and traffic charges of unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle. After processing he was late5r released on his own recognizance.

INCIDENT: Fraud

NARRATIVE: Store personnel reported being the victim of a fraudulent transaction on December 11th when two well-dressed Hispanic males purchased two Rolex Presidential watches with a credit card. During the purchase process, the card was denied however the customer contacted the credit company and provided the store with an authorization number to allow the purchase. Several days the store was informed that the cards were fake and the credit card company would not honor them. The two watches were valued at $20,087.

LOCATION: 1720 Main Street, Chester
VICTIM: Rite Aid
ARREST: Warren Edward Bullock Jr. (29) of Chester
CHARGE: Theft
NARRATIVE: Store Manager reported that a male suspect had been observed with taking a Wireless Netbook from its package and exiting the business without paying for it. Provided with a description of the suspect, he was located a short distance away from the store on Dominion Road. The suspect, identified as Warren Bullock was taken into custody and the netbook recovered. A warrant check also indicated Bullock was currently wanted for failing to appear in court. Bail was set at $8,000 on the two charges.

VICTIM: Charles Wilkerson of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Victim’s reported unknown person(s) had entered their vehicle during the previous night and several items taken including currency, auto parts and tools valued at $460.
