INCIDENT:                 Burglary (Reported)

DATE / TIME:            08/11/2013 @ 0728 Hours

LOCATION:               3265 Romancoke Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:                     Blue Heron Golf Course

 

NARRATIVE:              Employees arriving for work found that the golf cart shed had been broken into and two carts had been taken, used on the course and then returned with damage. In addition they located damage to some of the greens. Damages were estimated at $665.

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported unknown person(s) had broken into a storage shed and removed a blue 2007 Yamaha TTR 90 dirt Bike valued at $1500.

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported missing a .40 caliber semi-auto Mini Firestorm handgun and two gold chains from his residence. The items were valued at $600.

LOCATION:               Main Street Grasonville

 

ARREST:                     Simon John Hellyer (37) of Grasonville

CHARGE:                    DWI

 

NARRATIVE:              Sgt. Stouffer was traveling on Main Street just east of Oyster Cove and located a 2003 Lincoln off the roadway and into the marsh. About thirty feet further on the road was a male walking could be seen. While talking with the man, identified as Simon Hellyer it was noted that the odor of alcohol was present, he was swaying while standing and had mud on his legs. When asked if he had wrecked his car and he replied he had pulled off the road. The Lincoln was found to be registered to the man.

 

Hellyer was charged with DWI and later released on his signature. The Lincoln was towed from the scene.

LOCATION:               800 Block of Clannihan Shop Road, Church Hill

VICTIM:                     Kevin Boone of Church Hill

 

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported leaving his red 2008 Honda 250 (4×2) four wheeler in his back yard around 11 PM. As he was leaving for work in the morning, he realized that the four-wheeler was gone. The Honda was valued at $4000.

LOCATION:               900 Block of White Marsh Road, Centreville

VICTIM:                     Suzanne Spencer of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported that someone had entered two of their vehicles during the night taking $200 cash from one of the vehicles. A witness reported seeing a red four wheeler and a small blue motorcycle at the end of the driveway around 0130 hours.

VICTIM:                     Crop Production Services

 

NARRATIVE:              Thomas Engle of Crop Productions reported someone had stolen a tailgate from a white 2003 Ford F-250 parked on the grass near RT 301. The tailgate was valued at $500.

LOCATION:               Calvert Road, Chester

VICTIM:                     Michelle Thomas of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported missing her engagement and wedding rings valued at $4350 from her residence. Victim was able to advise of a possible suspect name which was checked in the various pawn records. It was learned that the suspect had pawned the rings in Annapolis for $500. Charges are pending.

LOCATION:               1000 block of Hope Road, Centreville

VICTIM:                     Robert M. Smith of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:              Victim reported that someone had entered his garage sometime during the day and took about 100 pounds of copper welding leads valued at $500.

INCIDENT:                 DWI Arrest

DATE / TIME:            08/13/2013 @ 2221 Hours

LOCATION:               RT 18 west of the Kent Narrows, Chester

 

ARREST:                     Patricia Elizabeth Partlow (41) of Arnold

CHARGE:                    DWI

 

NARRATIVE:              Deputy responding to a non-emergency call saw a pickup stopped on the side of the road appearing to be disabled. Once stopped he could see a white Kia passenger vehicle in the marshy area with the lights on.  The driver was still in the car when contacted and identified as Patricia Partlow by her MD driver’s license.  Driver advised she was ok and only had a few drinks. Strong odor of alcohol and other indicators led the deputy to conduct field sobriety tasks. The result was the arrest of Ms. Partlow.

 

After charging documents and related paperwork was issued, she was released to a sober adult.
