INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 02/12/2014 @ 1407 Hours
LOCATION: 425 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown
VICTIM: Gucci
NARRATIVE: Manager of the store reported that a beige dress valued at $1599 had been stolen. The suspect was an African American female who had taken the dress and several other items into changing room. While there two males came in and began to ask the manager questions about several display items. When the female exited the dressing room, she and the two males left the store. Upon checking the changing room a security sensor was located and employees were unable to locate the dress.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 02/13/2014 @ 1124 Hours
LOCATION: 900 Block of Spaniard Neck Road, Centreville
NARRATIVE: Victims reported missing numerous items from their residence including cash, jewelry, coins and other valuable items and suspected a family member. No sign of a break-in had been found and the theft seemed to have occurred over a period of time. After taking the report, Deputy Hogan ran a suspect’s name in the pawn database which showed over 80 transactions including several of the missing items. The estimated loss was placed at over $11,000. Charges are pending at this time.

INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: Dudley Avenue, Queenstown
NARRATIVE: Victims reported finding several unauthorized transfers and withdrawals from their bank account. An estimated $2500 had been taken over the past year. Charges are pending against a family member.

INCIDENT: MDOP
DATE / TIME: 02/14/2014 @ 0826 Hours (Reported)
LOCATION: 700 Block of Old Love Point Road, Stevensville
VICTIM: David Schmidt of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Victim reported someone had damaged his mailbox and wife’s car. The mailbox appeared to have kicked causing a dent and the car mirror and windshield wiper damaged. The estimated damage was $900.

INCIDENT: Armed Robbery
DATE / TIME: 02/14/2014 @ 2334 Hours
LOCATION: 6502 Church Hill Road, Chestertown (QA)
VICTIM: Royal Farms Store
NARRATIVE: Store employee reported a large male entered the store wearing a tan jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans and boots. The suspect concealed his identity by wearing a ski mask and gloves. The suspect demanded cash to be placed in a bag while displaying a bladed weapon. After getting money, the suspect exited the store. The suspect was reported to be over 6 foot tall and heavy build. A witness advised he saw a blue passenger car leaving about that time, however the vehicle was located on RT 544 and the occupants didn’t fit the suspect’s description or was there anything to indicate involvement.
A second vehicle was also reported in the area – a late 1990’s white Chevrolet / GMC s-10 pickup with a spare tire bolted to the side of the truck bed. INCIDENT: Domestic Assault
DATE / TIME: 02/15/2014 @ 1440 Hours
LOCATION: 107 Dominion Road, Chester
VICTIM: Theheerah L. Ahmad of Baltimore
ARREST: Mophat Chongo (29) of Glen Burnie
CHARGE: Assault
NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to the 7/11 store on Dominion Road for a reported assault. On arrival they located a female with blood on her shirt. She refused medical treatment and reported her boyfriend had become angry and had knocked the rear view mirror off, cracked the windshield and ripped the door trim off the car. He then allegedly hit her several times in the chest and stomach. The suspect, Chongo had remained at the location admitted to arguing with her but denied striking her as she is 8 months pregnant with his child. With cuts and blood on his hands, Chongo was placed under arrest for assault.
He was later released on his personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT: Fight Call
DATE / TIME: 02/15/2014 @ 2333 Hours
LOCATION: 200 Wells Cove Road, Grasonville
VICTIM: See Narrative
NARRATIVE: Deputies called to the location for a fight call. Interviews were done with subjects involved with statement being quite varied. It appears that a 28 Year old female from Edgewater bumped into a female (25) from Grasonville and a fight started. Others became involved including a 34 year old female from Shady Side. Several females were upset and wanted charges placed. The victims were transported to the Commissioner’s Office where they then decided they no longer wanted anyone charged.
