NARRATIVE:       A program to offer emergency assistance persons with bills funded by a local church in Stevensville has reported several fraudulent charges to their account. The program makes the payments directly rather than hand out checks to the person. When a local woman was able to get an actual check from the program several charges were notified on a bank statement. The woman appears to have used the routing number from the check to set up several direct payments to insurance and cell phone companies.
