INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: 300 Block of Skipper Lane, Chester
DETAILS: Victim reported the theft of (4) 17” wheels and tires valued at $400 for a Volkswagen passenger car from his driveway. The wheels / tires were up against the garage and last seen on the 9th.

LOCATION: 1700 Block of Bayside Drive, Chester
DETAILS: Victim was having some work done on her home and discovered her Ipad missing after the workers left. Only one of the workers was in the area of the device. Victim tracked the Ipad to a residence in Baltimore where one of the workers resides. Case remains open.

LOCATION: 1400 Block of Millington Road, Sudlersville
DETAILS: Victim reported unknown person(s) had removed 150’ of copper wire from an irrigation unit in a field. Also nearly 1000 gallons of diesel fuel was missing from a tank at the location. Damages and loss was estimated at $4000.

INCIDENT: Theft from Vehicles
DATE /TIME: 06/11/2016 @ 0707 Hours (Reported)
LOCATION: Earle Branch Road, Centreville
DETAILS: Several reports of vehicles with broken windows and items missing from parked cars overnight on Earles Branch Road, Friendship Drive and Prussian Turn near Centreville.
Damaged Vehicles:
2007 Chevrolet Pickup Broken Window Wallet with $150 and various ID taken
2008 BMW Car Broken Window Purse removed and contents dumped
2007 Honda SUV Broken Window Kate Spade wallet taken with various IDs
2010 Ford Pickup Broken Window Wallet searched with $250 and credit card taken
2014 Jeep SUV Window Broken Purse removed with $200 cash taken
2016 Nissan Car Unlocked Wallet removed with $6 taken
None of the victims reported seeing or hearing anything during the night. Several items at the scene were processed.

INCIDENT: Reported Assault
DATE /TIME: 06/11/2016 @ 2330 Hours
LOCATION: Queens Colony, Stevensville
DETAILS: Deputies called to a residence for a female assault victim who had a bloody nose, scrapes and bruises and without pants. In addition the woman was assisted home by two subject passing by. Thru interviews is was determined that the woman had been to a nearby restaurant earlier, left to go to a liquor store and then was at an overlook in the community. At some point she was intoxicated to a point where she fell at least once causing her injuries. She was transported to QA Emergency Room for treatment. A check of the overlook area confirmed she had been at the location drinking. No further action taken.

INCIDENT: Assault
DATE /TIME: 06/12/2016 @ 0045 Hours
LOCATION: 400 Block of Legion Road, Millington
DETAILS: Deputies responded to area for a possible suicide attempt and arriving in the area located a man walking in the road wearing only blue jeans. Subject was incoherent but eventually identified as Matthew Scott Fretz (34) of Felton DE. Additional units responded to the residence and located a female with visible injuries including a laceration to the face and multiple bruises. Medics responded but the female refused to be transported to a hospital.
The female refused to provide details other than Mr. Fretz had assaulted her during an argument.
Fritz was placed under arrest for assault and after processing was held on a $250,000 bail. The following day at a bail review he was released on his personal recognizance.

INCIDENT: MDOP / Theft
DATE /TIME: 06/12/2016 @ 0055 Hours
LOCATION: 600 Block of Kimberly Way, Stevensville
VICTIM: Frank Crowther of Stevensville
DETAILS: Victims heard several loud noises in the driveway and saw a neighbors motion light was on and went outside to investigate. They found the rear window of their 2003 Cadillac shattered and a wallet and sunglasses missing.

INCIDENT: Violation of Protection Order
DATE /TIME: 06/12/2016 @ 0451 Hours
LOCATION: 200 Block of Larch Place, Stevensville
DETAILS: In April of 2016 a Final Peace Order had been issued by the District Court for QA ordering that Stephanie Anne Twigg not to come to the residence on Larch Place. A caller reported her at the residence and deputies responded. Locating her nearby, she admitted to being aware of the order and being at the residence.
Twigg (29) of Centreville was placed under arrest. After processing, a District Court Commissioner released her on a $15,000 bond.

INCIDENT: DWI
DATE / TIME: 06/12/2016 @ 1948 Hours
LOCATION: RT 302 near Duhamel Corner Road, Marydel (QA)
DETAILS: A motorist reported a car swerving all over the road and had managed to get the driver to stop. After talking with the driver, the motorist gave him the keys and a knife saying she wanted to hurt herself.
Deputy on arrival was advised by the motorist and then talked with the driver, identified as Amanda Sue Harrington (39) of Denton. Odor of alcohol was present and Harrington advised she was taking prescription medicine as well. Driver also stated she had no intention of harming herself. Series of field sobriety tasks were attempted. Based on the attempts she was placed under arrest for DWI.
After processing, she was released to a sober family member.

INCIDENT: Theft from Motor Vehicle
DATE / TIME: 06/13/2016 @ 1115 Hours
LOCATION: 500 Block of Zaidee Lane, Stevensville
DETAILS: Victim reported leaving her purse in her unlocked car during the night and it was gone in the morning. The purse was a small gray unknown brand with $20 and several ID & credit cards.
