INCIDENT:       Serious Injury M/V Collision

LOCATION:      Flat Iron Square Road & Granny Branch Road Intersection near Church Hill

DETAILS:         Collision due to one of the vehicles failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection.

Vehicle #1 driven by Brian Patrick O’Neil (28) of Chestertown. O’Neil was flown from the scene by MSP Aviation to UMD in critical condition.

Vehicle #2 driven by Drew Robert Downs (19) of Centreville. Downs incurred minor injuries and released at the scene.

Charges are pending a completed investigation of the collision by the Sheriff’s Office.
