INCIDENT: MDOP

LOCATION: Old Love Point Park & RT 8 Pier
VICTIM: QA County
DETAILS: It was reported that unknown person(s) had spray painted purple offensive pictures on the shed near the tennis courts, a port-a-potty, the concession building, a dumpster and a county skid loader.
RT 8 Pier was also damaged with purple spray paint. The graphics were similar to the Old Love Point Park. County Parks & Rec were advised to arrange clean/cover up.

INCIDENT: Assault
DATE / TIME: 04/01/2017 @ 2201 Hours
LOCATION: RT 50 at Duke Street, Stevensville
ARREST: Johnnie Lee Johnson (58) of Severna Park
DETAILS: Deputies met with the victim at the Citgo on Duke Street. She reported she and her boyfriend (Johnnie Johnson) had been at one of the establishments at Kent Narrows. He had lost his keys and the victim gave him her spare key for the vehicle.
Johnson thought she had his keys and an argument occurred. Johnson then pulled to shoulder and again demanded his keys and then punched in the face. The victim then got out of the vehicle and went to the gas station while Johnson left heading or the Bay Bridge. The victim was bleeding from the bridge of her nose and side of her face.
MdTA police were advised to lookout for the vehicle and they located and stopped it in Anne Arundel County. During the stop the MdTA Officer determined the Johnson was driving under the influence. After Johnson was released by MdTA, he was then returned to Queen Anne’s county and charged with 2nd Degree Assault. A District Court Commissioner ordered Johnson on a $15,000 @ the QA Detention Center.

INCIDENT: Driving without Driver’s License
DATE / TIME: 04/07/2017 @ 1044 Hours
LOCATION: RT 404 near Owens Road, Queenstown
ARREST: Dustin Jay Taylor (35) of Salisbury
DETAILS: A black 2004 Infiniti was stopped on RT 404 for a minor traffic offense. Driver was identified as Dustin Jay Taylor by his Maryland ID Card. Taylor stated he didn’t have a license but was eligible but couldn’t get one because he was suspended in South Carolina from years before. There was an open Bench Warrant in South Carolina but SC would not extradite.
A search of e-tix system showed that Taylor was issued citations for driving without a license in May of 2016 in Dorchester and in June 2016 in Anne Arundel.
Taylor was placed under arrest and transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. He was later released by a District Court Commissioner on his signature.

INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: 424 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown
VICTIM: Gap Outlet
DETAILS: Employees reported two females had left the store with two mesh bags full of clothing valued around $900. One female distracted the sales people while the other shoved clothes in the bags and she left the store first. A customer reported the two left in a black car with temp a plate.
The female were described as African-American, 27-35 years of age. One suspect was wearing leggings and had her hair in a ponytail while the other suspect had braided hair and big hoop earrings.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 04/07/2017 @ 1043 Hours
LOCATION: 431 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown
VICTIM: Sunglass Hut
DETAILS: Employees reported two young white males had swapped their sunglasses for a pair of Rayban and a pair of Oakley sunglasses valued at $440. On arrival it was learned that a security guard was following the two in the parking lot. Deputy responded and detained the two. One suspect was identified as Colin Morter. The second subject was a juvenile.
Morter denied stealing sunglasses, but he did accidently walk out with a pair and he left them in his car. The juvenile admitted to swapping his glasses for an expensive pair.
A search of the suspects’ vehicle resulted in the recovery additional stolen items including Yankee Candles scent plugs and candle, from Tommy Bahama a men’s bathing suit, camp shirt and a wallet. Total amount recovered was $735.
Morter was charged with Theft less than $1000 (2 Counts) and Theft Scheme under $1000. The juvenile was released to his parents who responded to the outlets. A Juvenile Referral was sent to Juvenile

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 04/08/2017 @ 1636 Hours
LOCATION: 210 Country Day Road, Chester
DETAILS: Victim reported being at a local health club and securing his wallet and other belonging in a locker secured by a small personal lock. When he returned the lock and wallet which contained $300 cash, driver’s license and a credit card were gone.
By the time the victim got home to cancel the card, there had already been a purchase made at Champs in the Annapolis Mall for $350. Several days later the victim advised there additional charges made in Annapolis and PG County.

LOCATION: 700 Block of Mason Road, Stevensville
DETAILS: Victim reported leaving his orange and black Novara Float 2.0 mountain bike against the garage in front of his house on the afternoon of 4/8. The next day he realized it was gone. The bike is valued at $1500.

INCIDENT: Driving on Suspended License
DATE / TIME: 04/9/2017 @ 2243 Hours
LOCATION: Safeway Parking Lot, Chester, MD
DETAILS: Deputy saw a red Nissan Sentra parked in the fire lane in front of Safeway. Deputy stopped and advised the female driver that she could park there. When asked for her license she refused and also refused her name. The female was advised that she could be arrested if she continued to refuse.
With a second unit arriving, the female eventually provided a Maryland driver’s license identifying her as Andleeb Khurshid (25) of Easton. A check of her license status indicated she was suspended.
Khurshid was issued citations including parking in a fire lane, driving while suspended, possessing a suspended license.
