VICTIM: 30yo male from Queenstown, MD
DETAILS: Sergeant Hampton responded to the above address in reference to a malicious destruction of property. The victim advised that his front windshield and interior trim around the stereo of his 2009 Dodge Charger were damaged. The victim added that sugar was poured in his fuel tank. The victim’s Nike Air Max shoes and series 3 Apple Watch were also taken out of his vehicle. LOCATION: 200 Block of Pine Ridge Court, Church Hill MD
VICTIM: 34yo female from Church Hill, MD
DETAILS: The victim reported that an unauthorized account was opened at The Children’s Place store under her name. The victim stated that a charge of $318.22 was also applied to the account. The victim advised that she contacted The Children’s Store and informed them of the fraudulent account. The victim was informed by The Children’s Place store that the credit account will be closed due to the fraud claim. The store also advised that their fraud team will look further into this incident. The victim was referred to contact the three major credit bureaus and place a hold on all further credit applications for security reasons.

INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence
DATE / TIME: 9/08/2018 approximately 2:40 am
LOCATION: Route 18 and Main Street in Grasonville, MD
ARRESTED: Mark Stone, 48yo male from Odenton, MD
DETAILS: While conducting traffic enforcement, Deputy Carnaggio observed a white Cadillac Escalade illegally parked with the engine running and its operating lights on. As Deputy Carnaggio approached the vehicle, he observed that the driver was unconscious in the driver seat of the vehicle. Deputy Carnaggio woke up the driver, identified as Mark Stone. Deputy Carnaggio detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle and Stone’s breath. Stone also advised Deputy Carnaggio that his license was suspended. Deputy Carnaggio conducted standardized field sobriety tests on Stone. Based on the test results, Stone was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Stone was also given traffic citations for possessing a suspended driver’s license.

LOCATION: Round Top Park located at 101 Park Lane, Chestertown, MD
DRIVER: 16yo male from Chestertown, MD
DETAILS: While in the area of Round Top Park, Deputy Custis observed a 2009 Envoy GMC truck engaging in what appeared to be suspicious activity. Deputy Custis made contact the vehicle driver whom he identified as a juvenile. While speaking with the juvenile, Deputy Custis detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. The juvenile was issued a juvenile referral form for the possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. The juvenile’s parents were also notified.

DETAILS: Deputy Iman stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation on Watson Road at Quail Run. The driver was identified as Melanie Maloney. Deputy Iman detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. The driver was issued a warning for the speed violation and a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams.

DETAILS: Deputy Thomas stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation on Postal Road at Cox Neck Road. The driver was identified as Christopher Richards. Richards advised Deputy Thomas that he had marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. Richards was issued a warning for the speed violation and a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams.

LOCATION: Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown, MD
VICTIM: Carter’s Children Store, 422 Outlet Center Dr, Queenstown, MD
SUSPECT: White female, average build, approximately 30 years old
DETAILS: Deputy Carnaggio responded to the above location for a report of a theft. The store’s employee advised that, on September 4th at 11:30 AM, an unknown white female walked into the store with a small child. According to the employee, the suspect picked up four children’s t-shirts and a pair of children’s shoes. Shortly afterward, the suspect and the child exited the store with the merchandise in hand. The suspect left in a green Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a Georgia registration. This investigation is ongoing. Deputy Bradley detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle recovered suspected marijuana in an amount less than 10 grams. The driver was issued a warning for the speed violation and civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams.

DETAILS:                                         Deputy First Class (DFC) Dickey responded to the above address in reference to a theft. The victim stated that he placed ten slate walking pavers on a lot on Mooring Circle in Stevensville.  The victim advised that an unknown suspect stole three of his slate pavers. According to the victim, the pavers were 2ft x 3ft x 1.5 in. Each paver was valued to be $100 each. The victim stated he last saw the pavers on August 24th. INCIDENT: Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS)
DATE / TIME: 8/17/18 at approximately 12:50 pm
LOCATION: Park and Ride in Stevensville, MD
DRIVER: Alex Powell, 23yo male from Arlington, VA
PASSENGER: Frank Painter III, 23yo male from Arlington, VA
DETAILS: While conducting a patrol check at the Park and Ride in Stevensville, Deputy Bush observed two individuals with their heads down in a 2009 black Jeep. The temperature at that time was approximately 95 degrees. Concerned for their welfare, Deputy Bush approached the vehicle. While approaching the vehicle, Deputy Bush observed both occupants placing marijuana inside leaf wrappers. The two occupants, identified as Alex Powell and Frank Painter III, were asked to exit the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and the following were found:
· One Zip-Lock bag labeled “Pineapple Lush” containing suspected marijuana laying on top of the center console.
· One Zip-Lock bag labeled “Pineapple Express” containing suspected marijuana between the center console and the passenger seat.
· One Zip-Lock bag labeled “Sour Alien” containing suspected marijuana found in a backpack belonging to Powell.
· One glass smoking device and a metal grinder containing suspected marijuana found in a backpack belonging to Powell.
· Two packs of Backwoods cigars and a loose-leaf wrapper containing suspected marijuana found on the center console and in the passenger side door compartment.
· Unpackaged suspected marijuana found in the driver and passenger seats
The marijuana was confiscated. Both Powell and Painter were issued civil citations for the possession of marijuana.

DETAILS: Corporal Hartmetz responded to the above address in reference to a burglary. The victim advised that he was out of town over the weekend. When he returned home, he noticed that an unknown suspect had gained entry into his home and stolen his black Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun. The handgun is valued to be approximately $500. LOCATION: Main Street and Gravel Run in Grasonville, MD
DRIVER: Christopher Collins Jr, 18yo male from Grasonville, MD
DETAILS: While in the area of Main Street and Gravel Run, Deputy First Class (DFC) Cooper observed a brown 1995 Dodge Caravan driving above the posted speed limit. DFC Cooper conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Christopher Collins Jr. While speaking with Collins, DFC Cooper detected an odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a green leafy organic substance was located in a work boot behind the passenger’s seat. Collins was issued a civil citation for the possession of marijuana and a warning for driving above the posted speed limit. The marijuana was seized.

The victim advised that her daughter’s white and turquoise Trek mountain bicycle was stolen from her residence between the night of August 15th and the morning of August 16th.
