INCIDENT: Theft of Motor Vehicle

NARRATIVE: Richard Denny reported that his company vehicle, a 2004 Gold Honda was missing from his residence. Mr. Denny stated that the vehicle was in the garage with the keys inside the house when he last saw it. Mr. Denny stated that he had fallen asleep and when he woke up the car, keys and a subject staying with him were all gone. Mr. Denny called the subject on his cell phone and it was answered but the subject’s cousin. Mr. Denny was told that they were in Denton at the Royal Farm Store and that the subject had overdosed and was taken to Easton Memorial. Denton Police responded to the location at the request of QA however the cousin and car were gone.
The car is a gold 4 door 2004 Honda Civic with Economy Tree Service logos on the sides and valued at $5000.
UPDATE: The car was recovered in Denton on January 2nd. An arrest warrant was served on Nicky Dal Lamaster on January 14th in Anne Arundel County. He is currently out on a $7500 Bond.

INCIDENT: Theft from a Vehicle

LOCATION: 100 College Drive, Wye Mills, MD
VICTIM: AARP / James Edward Bachman
NARRATIVE: James Baldwin reported that two laptop computers, property of AARP had been taken from his 2008 Toyota Rav 4 while he was teaching a seminar at the college. No damage to the vehicle was reported. The victim stated he was sure the vehicle was locked however the key fob may have been activated in his pocket by accident. The two laptops were Older HP units belong to AARP. They had a value of $500 each.
UPDATE: Victim called to advise that the computer were never stolen but moved by his assistant with some other items.

LOCATION: 800 Main Street, Stevensville
VICTIM: Ramshead Shorehouse
NARRATIVE: Manager at the Ramshead Shorehouse reported a patron had opened a bar tab and the amount totaled $301.17. The man attempted to pay the bill with a credit Card which was declined. When the manager informed the man, he said he needed to make a phone call and then left the establishment. Charges are pending.
UPDATE: Jonathon Martin Friedl (28) of Pasadena has been charged on a criminal summons for theft.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported the theft of about 100 prescription pills from her residence. The victim stated she and her husband were moving and a friend came over to assist them. This was the only person at the house during the time the pills were stolen. An application for charges has been submitted to the court requesting Theft Charges
UPDATE: A Criminal Summons has been issued charging Janie Irene Spohn-Kuhn (35) of Marydel with Theft.

LOCATION: 100 Block of Massey Avenue, Church Hill, MD
VICTIM: Casey L. Strickland of Church Hill

NARRATIVE: Victim reported an argument with her boyfriend and it progressed to him allegedly him shoving her, punching in the head and choking her while on the floor. The male had fled to location prior to Sheriff’s Deputies arriving. A search of the area failed to locate the subject. The victim had minor injuries consistent with her report of the incident. An application for charges was submitted to the court for the male.
UPDATE: An Arrest Warrant was issued on the 14th charging Jeffrey David Ireland (25) of Price with Assault.

NARRATIVE: On duty Manager at the location reported an employee had been stealing money on several occasions while working. Video showed the male suspect putting cash into his pocket. Estimated theft was about $350. Charges have been submitted to the court and are pending. The suspect’s employment has been terminated.
UPDATE: A Criminal Summons was issued on January 21st charging David Andrew Derussy (41) with theft.
