INCIDENT: CDS Possession – Warrant Service
DATE / TIME: 02/22/2015 @ 1700 Hours
LOCATION: Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown, MD
NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to the Outlets for a suspicious subjects in a vehicle. One subject had been in a jewelry store and asked to look at a ring but left when he refused to follow store policy. The vehicle was observed leaving the Outlets and going in the Royal Farms Store parking lot. The vehicle stopped and the driver went into the store. Dfc. Draper made contact with male passenger who stated his name was Anthony Dwayne Sudler but had trouble remembering his DOB. The odor of marijuana was noted and the male was asked to exit the car. The driver returned to the car, provided identification and was found to be licensed. A check of the car resulted in the seizure of two small baggies of suspected Marijuana and a DE License in the name of Christopher Lamar Sudler. A check of this identity confirmed two active warrants in Delaware.
Christopher Lamar Sudler (22) of Dover DE was placed under arrest. He was issued a citation for the marijuana possession and charged with providing a false name. He was detained on a fugitive warrant reference to the Delaware warrants. The driver was not charged.

INCIDENT: Possession CDS with Intent to Distribute
DATE / TIME: 02/23/2015 @ 1441 Hours
LOCATION: Old Love Point Road, Stevensville, MD
NARRATIVE: Cpl. Davidson stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic offense on Old Love Point Road and requested a K9. Dfc. Ahern and K9 Blek responded and scanned the vehicle getting a positive alert. The teenage driver was asked to exit the vehicle and was found to have a baggie with suspected marijuana and a digital scale on the teenager’s person. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of several small baggies of suspected marijuana, rolling papers, a baggie with several small glassine baggies and a brass knuckle style knife with a 10’’ blade.
The teenager was taken into custody and the vehicle seized with the assistance of detectives from the drug task force.
The teenager was referred to Juvenile Services charged with Possession of CDS with intent to distribute, CDS PWID within 1000 feet of a school, Possession of CDS – Marijuana and possession of CDS Paraphernalia. The teenager was later released to a parent. CDS items were processed for testing at the MSP Lab.

INCIDENT: Burglary / Theft
DATE / TIME: 02/25/2015 @ 0721 Hours (Reported)
LOCATION: 500 Block of Red Lion Branch Road, Millington, MD
NARRATIVE: Dennis Emge reported being away for the weekend and on return observed footprints around his home. Mr. Emge checked the residence and was unable to locate any signs of forced entry. After checking inside he discovered that a Glock 22 .40 caliber pistol was missing from its storage location. Nothing else of value was disturbed or missing. The pistol was valued at $1000.
Case remains open.

DATE / TIME: 02/26/2015 @ 1836 Hours (REPORTED)
LOCATION: 7100 Block of Kent Point Road, Stevensville, MD
NARRATIVE: Erin Bowland reported that the residence she was House Sitting had been burglarized sometime between 11 AM and 3:30 PM. A forced entry point was located and there were signs that someone had been in the residence. She had contacted the owner and attempted to verify if anything was missing. The owner of the residence, Jacquelyn W. Barthanowicz on her return home was able to advise several pieces of jewelry were missing including a Class Ring from 1972, gold chain & pendant with initials JWC, ½ inch gold bangle bracelet, diamond stud earrings, a ruby & diamond tennis bracelet and a turquoise & silver bracelet. The items were estimated to be valued at over $6000.
Case remains open and assigned to the Sheriff’s CIU.
