LOCATION:                       100 Block of Spencer Lane Church Hill, MD

NARRATIVE:                     Deputy Sackrider responded to the 100 Block of Spencer Lane in Church Hill, MD in reference to a burglary and theft. Deputy Sackrider met with the victim and learned that his garage had been broken into. Several items were stolen including U.S. Currency, a 20 gauge Ithica Shotgun, and a buck knife. INCIDENT:        Theft from a vehicle

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:      1/19/18       4:03pm

LOCATION:                       Mowbray Park in Stevensville, MD

NARRATIVE:                     Deputy Jarrett responded to the victim’s address in Stevensville, MD where he learned that a purse was stolen from the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked during the time of the theft. The purse is described as black in color with pink writing. NARRATIVE:                     Deputy Thomas responded to the 100 Block of Market Court in Stevensville, MD in reference to a theft. Deputy Thomas met with the victim and learned that unauthorized ATM withdrawals were made from the victim’s bank account. Kent Island High School

NARRATIVE:                     Deputy Sackrider responded to Kent Island High School for a report of a theft. Deputy Sackrider met with the victim and learned that her Samsung cell phone was stolen from inside her classroom. The phone was valued at approximately $400.00. INCIDENT:        Theft under $1,000.00

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:      1/20/18    @   2:18pm

LOCATION:        200 Block of Chenowith Drive Stevensville, MD

NARRATIVE:                     Corporal Hartmetz was contacted by the victim at the Sheriff’s Office who wanted to report a theft. The victim was alerted from her credit card company of suspicious activity on her account. The victim realized that she was missing her purse along with several credit cards, although it is unknown where the theft took place. The victim also learned that unauthorized credit card transactions were made at department stores near Annapolis. INCIDENT:    Assault 2nd and Disorderly Conduct (Domestic Related)

DATE / TIME:  1/21/18 at 9:23pm

LOCATION:  200 Blk of Green Lee Rd in Chester

DEFENDANT:  Mrs. Tracy Burch, Age 38 of Chester

DETAILS:  Victim contacted the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County to report that his estranged wife assaulted him by smacking him on the mouth.   Upon the arrival of Dep Pack, the defendant, Mrs. Burch was located. She was being disorderly.  The defendant was eventually taken into custody and charged.  The defendant was transported to the QAC District Court Commissioners Office where she was held with no bond.

INCIDENT:    Theft: Less than $1,000 from M/V

DATE / TIME:  1/21/18 at 5:50pm

LOCATION:  1700 Blk of Ruthsburg Rd in Queen Anne

DETAILS:  Victim contacted the QACSO to report a theft from his company vehicle. The Victim reported between 1/19/18 at 4:30pm and 1/21/18 at 5:50pm, an unknown suspect stole welding cables from his company vehicle. He reported the cables were actually cut from the vehicle.  A canvas of his property also revealed that the suspect also stole his own personal welding cables from the rear of his home.  The welding cables contain copper and it is believed that the cables will be scrapped for money.  The combined value of the property is approximately $800 dollars.  No suspects or witnesses have been identified in this investigation.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County .

INCIDENT:          Traffic Stop / DUI

DATE / TIME:     01/21/18 @ 01:44 AM

LOCATION:        Route 18 @ Oyster Cove, Grasonville, MD

ARRESTED:         Anthony Whyte, Jr. (29 yr. old black male from Grasonville, MD)

DETAILS:            Deputy Pack initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle (2016 Black Ford Fusion, MD tag 9BM3987) for failure to maintain lane.  Upon making contact with the driver, Mr. Anthony Whyte, Deputy Pack could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle.  Additionally, there were open alcoholic containers in plain view inside the vehicle. Investigations resulted with Mr. Whyte being placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.
