NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to location for a report of a 2000 Ford truck in a ditch after striking a mailbox. On arrival the driver was identified as Nancy Elaine Harris who appeared to be under the influence. Several witnesses stated that they had observed the truck swerving down the road, striking a mailbox and then fishtailed into a ditch. After field sobriety tasks were attempted, Harris was placed under arrest for DWI and later released to the custody of a family member.

NARRATIVE: Caller advised she had witnessed two males wearing “hoodies” stealing the stop sign and the one way sign near the elementary school at approximately 2130 hours on the 23rd. Caller stated she told them to stop but noticed in the morning the signs were missing. The signs had an estimated value of $200.

NARRATIVE: School Resource Deputy Davidson was advised of two You Tube videos that had been posted by a 13 year old male student, making degrading remarks about a female student. Davidson was also advised that the girl and her parents felt that she was being harassed. The boy was contacted and advised to remove the videos immediately of face legal actions and suggested to write an apology letter.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported upon arriving home she noticed that someone had attempted to gain entry into her residence. A front porch door had been pried open and a slide bolt broken. No entry had been made into the main residence and nothing appeared to be missing. Damage was estimated at $100.

Mr. McGrath was located in the basement asleep. He was taken into custody, transported and processed at the Sheriff’s Headquarters.

NARRATIVE: The Sheriff’s Office responded to the GAP store for a report of two individual stealing merchandise and then fleeing in a gray Ford Taurus. Surveillance footage showed the two stuffing toddler shirts into a large dark bag. The Sheriff’s Office notified the MdTA Police and the car was stopped as it enteredAnneArundelCounty. The driver, Cynthia Payne was found to be suspended and had outstanding warrants inBaltimoreCounty. The stolen items from GAP were also located in the car as well as other merchandise. Both subjects were transported to the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters.
Items recovered included 5 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of jeans and 3 shirts from Carters, Girls Dress Shoes from Stride Right, 4 Shirts from GAP, 7 Shirts from Nautica, 7 pairs of women’s underwear and 3 pairs of pajamas from Legg/Hanes and a suitcase from LL Bean. The stolen items had a total retail price of $920.
Both subjects were charged with multiple counts of theft and theft scheme. Both subjects were held on a $7500 each.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that she had seen her ex-boyfriend earlier in the day while inAnnapolis. He had tried to get her to ride with him and then assaulted her. While at home she had received a call from him stating he was on theBayBridgecoming over to her home and implied he had a gun. Deputies responded to the area and later made contact with the male who denied he was on the shore, had a gun and was going to try and see her.
The victim was referred to the District Court Commissioner for a protective order.

NARRATIVE: Victim advised he was bike riding when he felt something wet striking his jacket as a pickup drove past him. A witness provided the victim the tag number from the truck. The owner was contacted and advised his son was in possession of the truck and where to locate him. The son advised he and several of his friends were riding around when one of the passengers threw a cup of ice at the bicyclist.
The victim was not injured and was provided information of the suspect and referred to a District Court Commissioner.

NARRATIVE: Victim advised she had made arrangements to have her 1991 Nissan repaired with a new clutch in June. The person working on the car requested $225 for parts. About a week later he advised that the transmission was also damaged and need an additional $1000 which the victim paid. Despite repeated attempts to have the car returned, the repairman had failed to do so. In October the victim located the car and found the windows down, the battery missing, a running board removed and it appears no repairs have been made.
The case remains open at this time.
