INCIDENT: MDOP

LOCATION: Queenstown
NARRATIVE: Several residents on Olde Point Lane, Charity Lane, First Street and Maryland Avenue reported their vehicles being egged overnight. None of the vehicles had permanent damage.

INCIDENT: Theft from Vehicle
DATE / TIME: 01/09/2014 @ 0929 Hours
LOCATION: 700 Block of Greenwood Creek Court, Grasonville
VICTIM: Andrew Langreich of Grasonville
NARRATIVE: Victim advised his mother’s Lexus had been broken into causing an estimated $500 in damage. Missing was a pair of sunglasses valued at $20.

INCIDENT: Disturbance
DATE / TIME: 01/10/2014 @ 1031 Hours
LOCATION: 1925 Main Street, Chester
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the Safeway Store for a verbal argument between an employee and a supervisor. It was reported that when the supervisor told the employee that work was needed to be done, the employee began to yell and curse. The employee was escorted from the store. The supervisor was advised on how to get a protection order if desired.

INCIDENT: Assault
DATE / TIME: 01/10/2014 @ 1932 Hours
LOCATION: 200 Block of Carroll Road, Centreville
VICTIM: Jeren Connell of Centreville
ARREST: John Joseph Connell Jr. (53) of Centreville
CHARGE: Assault
NARRATIVE: It was reported that a small child at the residence was shooting Nerf darts at Mr. Connell and he kicked at the child. An altercation then occurred between the victim and her father. The victim was then backhanded to her face causing noticeable bruising and swelling.
John J. Connell was placed under arrest and charged with assault. He was later released after posting a $5000 bail.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 01/11/2014 @ 1420 Hours
LOCATION: 431 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown
VICTIM: Sunglass Hut / Bass / Guess
ARREST: Yusety L. Rodriguez (47) of Silver Spring
CHARGE: Theft
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the Outlets for a theft complaint. On arrival Security there reported the suspect to be a Hispanic female with blonde hair in a Honda SUV. Just at that time, the SUV drove by with the suspect in the rear seat. The SUV was stopped and contact with the suspect was made who was found to be in possession of a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses valued at $155 from the Sunglass Hut. A witness then reported seeing the woman stuffing something in the trash can near Subway. The can was checked and a new pair of shoes from Bass were recovered. A check of a trash can inside Subway resulted in the recovery of three additional pairs of sunglasses – two from Guess and another pair from the Sunglass Hut. Total recovery was $550 of merchandise.
Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. A District Court Commissioner later released her on her own recognizance.

INCIDENT: Past Theft
DATE / TIME: 01/11/2014 @ 1611 Hours
LOCATION: Kentmoor Marina, Stevensville
VICTIM: Evan T. Evans of Annapolis
NARRATIVE: Victim reported missing his 23’ boat trailer valued at $5000 from the marina. The trailer was last seen at the end of October. The trailer is described as having yellow rollers and black lettering “Canvas Back”.

INCIDENT: Disorderly Person
DATE / TIME: 01/11/2014 @ 2256 Hours
LOCATION: Whittington Lane, Grasonville
VICTIM: Roberta Roy of Grasonville
ARREST: Traee Daran Lee (29) of Grasonville
CHARGE: Assault / Disorderly
NARRATIVE: Victim called reporting her son as being drunk, fighting and tearing up items in her house and was requesting he be removed from the house. On arrival they found Lee face down on a bed and unresponsive. An ambulance was requested but prior to arrival, Lee came to and began to swing at the officers and making threats to harm then. He was taken into custody and on his way to the car continued to make threats to the paramedics who had now arrived. He continued to be uncooperative during processing and at the District Court Commissioner’s Office.
He was initially held on a $50,000 bail. At a bail review it was reduced to $25,000 and a property bond was posted.
