INCIDENT:         Theft

DATE / TIME:    03/28/2018 approximately 0930 hours

LOCATION:       400 Block of Front St, Crumpton MD

VICTIM:              84yo Female of Crumpton

DETAILS:                Deputies were dispatched to the 400 Block of Front St., Crumpton MD, in reference to a past Theft. It was learned that the suspect stole a 410 Stevens, bolt action shotgun, with the estimated worth of $150. The shotgun was stolen between February 16, 2018 and March 24, 2018. INCIDENT:         Theft of vehicle

DATE / TIME:    03/28/2018 approximately 1345 hours

LOCATION:       Kmart Parking lot, Stevensville MD

VICTIM:              53yo male of Wisconsin

DETAILS:                Deputies were dispatched to the Kmart Parking lot in Stevensville, MD, in reference to a Theft of a vehicle. The victim indicated that someone stole his vehicle. That vehicle is described as a black in color, Ford Escape bearing the Wisconsin registration of MZ2329. It was learned that the vehicle was stolen between 1210 and 1340 hours. The stolen vehicle was entered into NCIC. This investigation will continue.  Anyone with information that would assist with this investigation is asked to make contact with Dep. Barlow at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

INCIDENT:                     Malicious Destruction of Property under $500.00 and Theft under $100.00

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            4/1/18       11:58 pm

LOCATION:                 McDonalds @ 410 Thompson Creek Road Stevensville, MD 21666

VICTIM:                      Grasonville, MD

NARRATIVE:               Deputy Sackrider responded to the McDonalds located at 410 Thompson creek road in reference to a malicious destruction of property. Upon arrival he met with the victim and learned that someone had smashed out a window on the victim’s vehicle. The unknown suspect had stolen cash and a pack of cigarettes. INCIDENT:                     Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            4/1/18       6:57pm

LOCATION:                 500 Block of Sudlersville Cemetery Road in Sudlersville, MD

NARRATIVE:               Dfc. Creason responded to the 500 Block of Sudlersville Cemetery Road in Sudlersville, MD in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Investigations determined that a vehicle was stopped in the roadway for an extended period of time. Dfc. Creason arrived on scene and located a male asleep behind the driver’s wheel. The driver was woken up and indicators of alcohol were present at that time. The driver was later put through field sobriety tests and was later placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was later released to a sober adult.

INCIDENT:      Theft over $1,000. Fraud

DATE / TIME:  3/29/18 at 1:22PM

LOCATION:  3700 block of Love Pt. Rd., Stevensville, Md. 21666

DETAIL:    Dep. Matteson made contact with a 78 year old victim of a theft of credit cards that had been used fraudulently. She advised that sometime between 2/19/18 and 3/7/18, unknown suspect(s) had stolen 2 credit cards and made several fraudulent charges with a total value of approx. $4,000.00. The investigation is continuing.

INCIDENT:  Theft under $1,000.00

DATE / TIME:  3/29/2018 at 5:00 Pm

LOCATION:  300 Thompson Creek Road/ Food Lion Stevensville Md. 21666

Victim: Food Lion

DETAILS:  On 3-29-2018 around 11:30pm, Deputies responded to Food Lion located in Stevensville MD in reference to a possible theft investigation. Deputies made contact with the manager, who stated earlier that evening a heavy built white female in her 30’s came into the store and purchased a candy bar. During this time, the manager stated that while she was at the register, the female suspect asked to exchange several larger bills for smaller ones. The store cashier took the money and placed it into the register and proceeded to give the women money back. The Manager stated at the end of the shift they audited the cashiers register and found out that cashier was $400.00 short. This case is an ongoing investigation.

INCIDENT:  CDS/ Malicious Destruction Of Property

DATE / TIME:  03/29/18 at 9:00 Pm

LOCATION:  Pinikey Park located at 2210 Dudley Corners RD, Millington MD.

Charged:

Nicholas Jack Davis (18yo) of Millington MD.

Judith B Jimnez-Miranda (18yo) of Millington MD.

And Two Juveniles Names not listed.

DETAILS: On 3/29/2018 around 9:00 pm, Deputies conducted a patrol check of Pinikey Park located in Millington MD. Deputies observed two trucks on location after park hours. Deputies observed that one of the trucks was located out on the basketball courts doing burnouts and donuts. Deputies activated their lights and made contact with both vehicles. The Deputies made contact with the driver of the pickup truck that was out on the basketball courts and identified him as a juvenile. That individual was charged with malicious destruction of property for causing damage to the basketball court and released to a parent. Contact was made with the other vehicle on scene and a strong odor or marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and marijuana in the amount of less than 10 grams was located. The driver Nicholas Davis and the front seat passenger Judith Jimnez-Miranda was issued a civil citation for the marijuana and released from the scene. The back seat passenger was a juvenile and was issued a juvenile citation and released to a parent.

INCIDENT:                     Possession of Marijuana under 10 grams

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            3/30/18       9:33 pm

LOCATION:                 Bowers Road at Pond Town Road in Church Hill, MD

NARRATIVE:               Dfc. Piasecki conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling in the area of Bowers Road and Pond Town Road. During the traffic stop a K9 scan was conducted on the vehicle. A positive alert was given by the K9. A search of the vehicle was performed. The search resulted in the recovery of Marijuana less than 10 grams. The driver was issued a citation for the CDS and was released on scene.

LOCATION:                 1200 Block of Little Creek Road in Chester, MD

VICTIM:                      Female, Chester, MD

NARRATIVE:               Deputies responded to an address in the 1200 Block of Little Creek Road in Chester, MD. Upon arrival they met with the victim and learned that unauthorized charges had been made to the victim’s bank account. The total loss is estimated to be approximately $650.00. This case is currently under investigation.

INCIDENT:   Motor Vehicle Collision

DATE / TIME:   03/30/18 @ 12:30 PM

LOCATION:   Kent Island Car Wash @ 517 Main Street Stevensville, MD

INVOLVED VEHICLE (Vehicle 1):   2018 Chevy Silverado, MD tag 7CZ8105

INVOLVED DRIVER:   Robbie Loveday (48 yr. old male from Stevensville, MD)

DETAILS:   Deputies investigated a motor vehicle collision at the Kent Island Car Wash in Stevensville. Maryland. Investigations revealed that a 2018 Chevy Silverado pickup truck traveled in the entrance lane of the car wash.  While moving towards the entrance to the car wash bay, the vehicle struck a concrete pillar causing superficial damage to driver’s side of vehicle.  The truck was still operable and it was able to be driven away.

INCIDENT:   Theft under $1,000.00

DATE / TIME:   03/30/18 @ 4:19 PM

LOCATION:   300 Block of Merrick Corner Road Church Hill, MD

COMPLAINANT:   20 yr. old from Church Hill, MD

DETAILS:  Deputies responded to investigate a report of a theft located at an address off of Merrick Corner Road. Deputies met with the complainant. They were told that around 03:15 PM on 03/30/18, they observed a black Chrysler 200 (unknown tag number, no further description) backing out of his driveway and drive towards Ingleside, MD. The complainant was unable to provide the tag number of the suspect vehicle. The complainant walked out to his vehicle, and noticed that $300 in currency had been taken out of the center console of his truck.  The complainant advised that no other property was taken.  This investigation is ongoing and is active. INCIDENT:                   Possession Marijuana Less Than 10 Grams

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            04/01/18 @ 1:39 am

LOCATION:                 Rt. 213 South of Rt. 309 in Centreville, MD

NARRATIVE:               On 04-01-18 at 1:39 am, Deputy Sackrider conducted a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle at Rt. 213 just south of Rt. 309 for a traffic violation. While speaking with the two occupants of the vehicle, Deputy Sackrider became suspicious that criminal activity was afoot. To investigate his suspicions further, he requested the assistance of a Drug Detection K9. Dfc Piaseki responded to the location of the traffic stop with his K9 partner Zora. A K9 scan was performed, which resulted in a probable cause search of vehicle. During the search, Deputy Sackrider was informed by the female passenger Dominque Broomer that she was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The drugs were seized and the female passenger was charged on a civil citation before being released on her signature.

DATE / TIME:  4/2/18 at 1:13PM

LOCATION:  200 blk Beech Dr., Stevensville, Md. 21666

DETAIL:    Dep. Barlow responded to a reported theft from a vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller, who advised that sometime between 4/1/18 at 10:30PM and 4/2/18 at 6:00AM, unknown suspect(s) entered their vehicle and stole $25 in cash. The vehicle is a 2013 Mazda CX5, red in color, with MD tags. The investigation continues. Anyone with further info please contact QACSO.

INCIDENT:  Theft of a Handicap Placard from a M/V

DATE / TIME: 4/2/18 at 8:00AM

LOCATION:  301 Evans Avenue, Grasonville, Md. 21638 (Wet Dog Car Wash)

DETAILS:  Dfc. Goodman responded to a reported theft from a M/V. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller, who advised that sometime on 3/8/18 between 10:30AM and 11:00AM, unknown suspect(s) stole her handicapped placard (serial # 24729H). The caller advised that she had noticed the placard gone after going to the Wet Dog Car Wash. The placard had been in her vehicle’s glove box (2017 Ford Escape). Anyone with info contact QACSO.
