INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: RT 544 @ RT 290 Crumpton
VICTIM: Asplundh Tree Experts
NARRATIVE: Supervisor of the service crew reported leaving their trucks after work in the parking lot of The Outpost located on the corner of RTs. 544 & 290 near Crumpton. Upon returning the next morning they discovered someone had removed a Husqvarna chainsaw from a locked toolbox and broken the window of another truck.
Damages were estimated at $300 and the chainsaw was at $900.00

LOCATION: 425 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown
VICTIM: Gucci
NARRATIVE: Management reported a large bag to be missing from the shelve on March 24th. When they reviewed security footage from that day they saw an African American male removing several items from racks and shelves including two Greenwich Python purses, a Gucci Python bag, a Gucci leather biker jacket, and a pair of Gucci pants. The stolen items had a retail value of $8,495.00

LOCATION: Queen Neva Court, Chester
VICTIM: Linda F. Woolen of Chester
NARRATIVE: Victim’s family member was having a medical emergency and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center by ambulance. Neighbors of the victim assisted in driving the victim to the medical center. The neighbors then responded back to the victim’s residence to retrieve some medications.
When the victim returned home, she discovered several jewelry items to have been moved and additional pieces missing including a diamond & ruby ring, several gold bracelets, and two gold necklaces. Items missing were valued at over $6200.00
Investigation is continuing and charges are pending.

LOCATION: 2017 Dudley’s Corner Road, Millington
VICTIM: Bonnie Larimore / Dixon Auctions
NARRATIVE: Ms. Larrimore reported that a tenant had removed several furniture items from the rental property and had sold them at Dixon Auctions. Items missing included an antique secretary desk and an antique RCA Victrola. Dixon’s made arrangements to recover the items from purchasers at a loss of their fees. Property taken had an estimated value of $5,625.00.
Charges are pending.

LOCATION: 200 Block of Brownsville Road, Centreville
VICTIM: Leonard J. Deedon Jr. of Dover DE.
NARRATIVE: Victim advised he had a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro parts car parked at his son’s residence on Brownsville Road. Victim stated he had removed a driver’s side door and driveshaft from the car to put on his other Camaro. When he came to get the parts, he discovered them missing. His son reported there had been subjects nearby “scrapping” items. The parts were valued at $300.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported two flags had been stolen from the end of his driveway. The flags, a Maryland State Flag and a US Army Flag were valued at $50.00

LOCATION: 1700 Block of Marion Quimby Drive, Stevensville
VICTIM: Robert C. Lare of Stevensville
ARREST: Christopher Richard Burke (31) of Stevensville
CHARGE: Burglary / Assault / MDOP
NARRATIVE: Victim reported she and her husband were in a bar earlier when an argument occurred. Victim states she dropped her husband off at home and then went to a family member’s home. A short time later the husband showed up at the door and when the victim attempted to shut the door, the husband forced his way into the residence. When confronted by the family member, the husband assaulted him and at which time the husband was restrained until deputies arrived. Christopher Burke was taken into custody and charged with burglary, assault and MDOP. After processing he was held by a District Court Commissioner on a $5000 which was later posted by a corporate bond.

LOCATION: 312 Perry Lynch Road, Millington

ARREST: Tara Lynn Torres (24) of Millington
David Frank Waddell (43) of Millington
Carey Patterson Blanchfield (54) of Millington
CHARGE: Assault
NARRATIVE: Deputies dispatched to a residence on Perry Lynch Road for an assault complaint. On arrival it was reported that several members of the family had become involved in a “free for all” altercation. The argument involved the playing of loud music and having numerous gusts there. According to witnesses, Carey Blanchfield and his wife Donna began an argument with Tara Torres (Step-Daughter) and allegedly struck her in the chest. At that time Tara Torres struck back and David Waddell (Brother in Law) joined the altercation and Mr. Blanchfield was knocked to the deck floor. A step-son also joined in with the other two punching and kicking Blanchfield. Donna Blanchfield attempted to break the fight up and ended up being assaulted by at least one of those involved in the fight. It was noted that several of the subjects had bruises and scratches. As a result, Carey Blanchfield, Tara Torres and David Waddell were taken into custody for assault. The step-son had fled the location prior to deputies arrival. After processing at Sheriff’s Headquarters, all three were released on the personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

CHARGE: Underage Possession of Alcohol
NARRATIVE: A yellow Volkswagen was stopped for a minor traffic violation. The driver was identified as Konnor De Pol age 19 and the passenger Shawn Myers age 18. The ere was a 30 pack of beer on the rear seat. A further check of the car resulted in another 6 pack of beer on the floor. Both individuals were issued civil citations and released on the scene.

LOCATION: 1800 Block of Dixon Tavern Road, Barclay
VICTIM: Aaron M. Marshall of Barclay
NARRATIVE: Victim reported missing his Barnett Crossbow and a Husquvarna Chainsaw from his garage. Victim stated that he last saw the items the previous weekend. At the time of the theft the garage door had been left open. A witness reported seeing an older model green Chevrolet 4 door sedan occupied by a white male and female in their twenties acting suspiciously in the area. The items taken were valued at $550.00
