INCIDENT: Theft: From Vehicle (Less $1,000)
DATE / TIME: 5/25/18 at 4:45 PM
LOCATION: 3000 Blk of Price Station Rd, Centreville, MD 21617
VICTIM: 21yo male of Bear, DE
DETAILS: Victim reported while parked in the driveway an unknown suspect stole between $400-$600 dollars. At the time, the victim was soliciting in the area. Two possible suspects were interviewed however insufficient evidence was found. The victim was provided with a case number.

LOCATION: 200 Blk of Merganser Dr, Chestertown, MD 21620
VICTIM: 51yo female of Chestertown, MD
DETAILS: Victim reported that her red Coleman cooler was stolen from the back of her residence. The property is valued at approximately $20 dollars. The property was last seen on 5/25/18. No suspects or witnesses were identified. If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 410-758-0770.

INCIDENT: Traffic Accident: Hit and Run
DATE / TIME: 5/27/18 at 6:30 AM
LOCATION: 20 Blk of Greenwood Shoal, Grasonville, MD 21638
DRIVER: Molly Knapp, 27yo female of Grasonville, MD
DETAILS: Complainant reported witnessing vehicle in a ditch at the above location. Upon arrivals, deputies located a vehicle in the ditch with major front-end damage. The investigation revealed the driver fell asleep and thought she struck a breaker box, but in fact, she struck a vehicle parked and ran over some shrubs. The driver left the scene of the accident.

INCIDENT: Traffic Arrest: Driving on a Suspended License
DATE / TIME: 5/27/18 at 3:43 PM
LOCATION: Rt 405 at Flat Iron Square Rd in Church Hill, MD 21628
DRIVER: Caitlyn Courtney, 21yo female of Church Hill, MD
DETAILS: Dfc Burns conducted a traffic stop on an driver, later identified as Caitlyn Courtney, for speeding. Upon making contact with the driver, a driver’s license check was conducted and it resulted in the driver having a suspended license. The driver was cited and released on a signature.

INCIDENT: Marijuana less than 10g
DATE / TIME: 05/26/2018 approximately 7:30 PM
LOCATION: Three Creaks Drive, Centreville MD
SUSPECT: Travis C. Luedtke, 21yo male of Anne Arundel CO.
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting patrol in the area of Three Creeks Dr. and Tanyard Rd, Centreville MD when they witnessed gold in color, 2006 GMC Sierra, bearing a Maryland registration, with the driver of the vehicle not restrained by a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Travis C. Luedtke. Deputies smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A Probable Cause search was completed which resulted in locating Marijuana less than 10g. Luedtke was cited on a civil citation for the Marijuana less than 10g and issued the appropriate citation for not wearing his seatbelt.

INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence
DATE / TIME: 05/28/2018 approximately 2255 hours
LOCATION: Rt. 18 @ Castle Marina Rd, Chester MD
ARRESTED: Christina Maggio, 41yo female of Stevensville MD
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Rt 18 and Castle Marina Rd, Chester MD. Deputies witnessed a white in color, 2014 Jeep Wrangler, driving at an excessive speed. Deputies caught up to the vehicle, which was traveling a speed of 75mph in a posted 55mph. Deputies activated their emergency equipment and completed a traffic stop, at which time contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Christina Maggio. While speaking with Ms. Maggio, Deputies smelled a strong odor of an Alcoholic beverage coming from Ms. Maggio’s Breath. Ms. Maggio admitted to just leaving a local establishment after consuming a couple of alcoholic beverages.
Standardized Field Sobriety tests were completed by Ms. Maggio. In result, Ms. Maggio was placed under arrest and charged with:

1. Exceeding posted maximum speed limit
2. Driving vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed
3. Failure to display registration card upon demand
4. Negligent driving vehicle in careless and imprudent manner
3. Driving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
4. Driving vehicle while impaired by alcohol
5. Driving vehicle while so far impaired by drugs/Alcohol, cannot drive safely
6. Failure to drive vehicle on right half of roadway
7. Driver changing lanes when unsafe
8. Reckless driving vehicle in wanton and willful disregard
9. Driving vehicle on highway with suspended registration

Ms. Maggio was issued all appropriate paperwork and released to a sober party. An application of charges will be completed on Ms. Maggio for the Malicious destruction of Property for urinating in Dfc. Princes’ Patrol vehicle.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 05/27/2018 approximately 7:30pm
LOCATION: 1500 Block of Postal Rd, Chester MD
VICTIM: 23yo male of Chester MD
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 Block of Postal Rd, Chester MD, in reference to a Theft of multiple items from a residence. The victim indicated that items like a Rolex watch, crossbow and fishing equipment, were stolen from inside his residence. The Burglary occurred between the hours of 1 pm and 330pm on May 27, 2018.

Anyone with information that would assist with this investigation is asked to make contact with the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

INCIDENT: Traffic Stop/CDS Violation
DATE/TIME: 05/28/2018 @ 12:13 pm
LOCATION: Queenstown Outlets, Queenstown, Md. 21658
DETAILS: Deputy Patikowski observed a 2017 Toyota Truck, white in color, with Md tags, being operated by a driver not wearing his seatbelt. The passenger also was not wearing their seatbelt. Dep. Patikowski made contact with the driver, who was identified as, Johnathan Braun (24yo) and the passenger, Luke Parfrey (25yo). During that contact, Dep. Patikowski detected the smell of marijuana and as a result, a search was conducted. The results of the search revealed a number of items along with less than 10 grams of marijuana. Traffic warnings were issued to the driver and passenger and both were written a civil citation for the marijuana.

INCIDENT: Traffic Stop/ CDS Violation
DATE/TIME: 05/28/2018 @ 8:11 pm
LOCATION: Rt 304 @ Mason Branch
DETAILS: Dfc Piasecki conducted a radar traffic stop on a beige in color Mercedes for speeding in the area of Mason Branch on Route 304. During the stop, an odor of Marijuana was detected and a K-9 scan was conducted. During the search, Marijuana and packaging material was located, along with a small amount of Heroin. Also located in the vehicle was a loaded handgun. The driver, later identified as Aaron Johnson was also prohibited from possessing any firearm due to his criminal history.
Arrested: Aaron Johnson, 23yo male from Magnolia, DE
CHARGED: Possession with intent to distributed Marijuana, possession of Heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of handgun in motor vehicle, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm during and in relation to drug trafficking, illegal possession of ammunition after being prohibited from possessing a regulated firearm and possessing a regulated firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.
