INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: Towers Gardens Community, Stevensville, MD
DETAILS: On 05/05/2018, Dep. Dickey spoke with a member of the Tower Garden Community and they advised between the dates of 4/28 -5/4/2018, suspect(s) entered the community beach area of Tower Gardens and removed the gate locks to the boat ramp and beach area. INCIDENT: 2nd Degree Assault
DATE/TIME: 5/6/2018 @ 10:16AM
LOCATION: Hope Road Centreville, MD 21617
INVOLVED PARTIES: 49yo female Centreville, Md
54yo male Centreville, Md
DETAILS: Deputies received a 911 call for an assault in progress on Hope Road Centreville, Md. Upon arrival deputies learned that both parties had been involved in an altercation and both alleged they were assaulted by the other. Neither party wished to press charges on the other so they were both referred to the Court Commissioner’s Office and were advised of their victim’s rights.

INCIDENT: Malicious Destruction of Property

LOCATION: Julia Lane Sudlersville, MD
VICTIM: 27yo male Sudlersville, MD
SUSPECT: Kyteria Taylor 28yo female Chestertown, MD
DETAILS: Deputies responded to the area of Julia Lane Sudlersville, MD in reference to a Malicious Destruction of Property complaint that just occurred. Upon arrival Dep. Custis was advised by the victim that someone had damaged 3 tires on his car causing approximately $217.00 in damage. INCIDENT: Civil Citation (Possession of Marijuana, less than 10 grams)
DATE / TIME: 5/5/18 at 11:45PM
LOCATION: Rt. 18 at Wharf Dr., Chester, Md. 21619
Arrested: Caroline Krueger, 20 of Stevensville, Md
DETAIL: Cpl. Hartmetz observed a late model silver colored Honda sedan, following another vehicle too closely, in the area of Rt.18 and the Kent Narrows A short distance later. he initiated a traffic stop of the Honda and made contact with the driver, Caroline Krueger (20YO). While speaking with the driver, Cpl. Hartmetz smelled marijuana emanating from the car. As a result, a search was conducted of the vehicle and less than 10 grams of marijuana was located. Caroline was issued a traffic warning for following another vehicle too closely and issued a civil citation for possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. She was released on her signature at the scene.

INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
DATE / TIME: 5/6/18 at 12:56AM
LOCATION: EB RT50 near Exit 42, Grasonville, Md. 21638
Arrested: Edward Hartle 22 of Severn, Md
DETAILS: Cpl. Hartmetz observed a late model, silver colored, Ford F150; commit a number of traffic offenses in the area of Rt. 18 at the Rt. 50 on ramp (exit 42). He initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Edward Hartle (22YO). The driver appeared to be under the influence. After an Investigation Hartle was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Hartle was issued traffic citations for Negligent Driving, Unsafe lane change, and Failure to obey a traffic control device. He was also cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related charges. He was released on his signature at the scene to a sober driver.

LOCATION: Roundtop Park, Roundtop Rd., Chestertown, Md. 21620
Arrested: David Carter 18 of Chestertown, Md
DETAILS: Dfc. Cooper was conducting a patrol check of the park when he noticed a silver Hyundai sedan in the parking lot. He made contact with driver, David Carter (18yo) and asked for consent to search the vehicle. Carter gave consent and a search was conducted which resulted in marijuana (less than 10grams) being located. Carter was issued a civil citation for possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. He was released on his signature at the scene.
