INCIDENT: Medical Emergency

VICTIM: Female (56) of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Female contacted 911 and was threatening to harm herself by driving into oncoming traffic at the Bay Bridge. Subject advised she had argued with a family member and when her family went to bed she left the house. The female was taken into custody without incident and transported by patrol car to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

VICTIM: Brittany O. Hyle of Greensboro, MD

CHARGE: Assault 1st & 2nd Degree and Reckless Endangerment
NARRATIVE: Sheriff’s Deputies were called to The Jetty for a female who had been assaulted. On arrival staff advised a white female had been struck on the head with a bottle and was unconscious on the floor. Deputies located Brittany Hyle on the floor with a bleeding laceration on the right side of her head. EMS was requested and responded.
Investigation revealed the victim was seated at the bar and became involved in an argument with another female. The suspect is reported to have picked up a beer bottle and stuck the victim from behind breaking the bottle and knocking her to the floor unconscious. Security at that time escorted the suspect from the bar and she then left in an unknown vehicle and direction.
The victim advised that the suspect was her ex-boyfriends girlfriend and didn’t recall anything after being struck on the head. The victim was transported to Easton Memorial Hospital for her injuries, the laceration and several small cuts from broken glass. Several other patrons at the location advised deputies of the suspect’s name.
An application for charges was submitted to the District Court Commissioner and an arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, a 31 year old Centreville woman.

NARRATIVE: The victim reported parking his Chevrolet pickup at Mears Point Marina at 9PM on the 19th. When he returned on today’s date he discovered that someone had scratched his hood and both fenders. Damage was estimated at $500.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that he was missing a wakeboard, computer printer and a Nissan 3.5 boat motor from his residence after allowing a family member stay with him. The items were valued at $570. The victim advised that he had confronted the family member who stated he had pawned the items.
Dfc. Fraser checked the local pawn records and located a transaction involving the suspect and with the three stolen items at a pawn shop in Stevensville. Dfc. Fraser went to the shop and recovered the items.
An application has been submitted which resulted in a criminal summons being issued for the suspect. A 22 year old male from Chester.

NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to location after being advised that the male implied he may harm himself. Deputies located the man who was intoxicated and reportedly taking prescription medication. The complainant reported the male was upset over a relationship issue and child visitation. The male was transported to Chester River Medical Center by Patrol car for treatment.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported leaving his farm equipment in a field about ½ mile off the road on the 15th and upon returning on the 21st several pieces were missing. The items were described as a John Deere rotary hoe 12 FT in width with a lot of rust and a John Deere drag harrow with three pieces chained together. The two items were valued at $6,000.

When he returned to his truck he discovered it to be damaged by a scratch across the hood. Victim advised he had not had any altercations with anyone at the bar. Damage was estimated at $1000.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS

LOCATION: Little Creek Landing, Chester

CHARGE: Possession of CDS (Heroin) & Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
NARRATIVE: Dfc. Kellogg checking the area of Little Creek landing located a Mazda Tribute park at the location with two occupants. After talking with the driver (Owner) who stated he had K2 and a smoking device in the vehicle, Dfc. Kellogg searched the vehicle. The search yielded the reported K2 and pipe, as well as a uncapped syringe with residue, a burnt spoon with residue, a lighter, cotton ball and an elastic band. Both subjects denied ownership of the items and claimed it belonged to another person. Dfc. Kellogg reports that the spoon still had suspected CDS in liquid form.
Charges were applied for and Criminal Summonses were issued for CDS violations.

NARRATIVE: Sgt. Johnston in the area on patrol saw a white Land Rover with its lights on parked at a closed business. Sgt. Johnston check and found a female and small dog in the vehicle. The female had difficulty lowering the window and had several signs to suspect she had been drinking. The driver later identified as Marlynn C. Morabito stated she was coming from Lewes Delaware heading to McLean Virginia. Morabito stated she was upset over a family situation and had drank a fifth of vodka prior to leaving Lewes. A later breath test indicated she was four times over the legal limit. Morabito was charged with DWI issued citations and later released to her husband.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported she noticed some counterfeit bills while preparing a bank deposit. The bills, two $5 Bills and a $20 bill were passed between May 21st and May 22nd. The bills were collected by the Deputy and the Secret Service was notified.

NARRATIVE: Dfc. Kellogg saw Tiffany Cole driving a blue Chevrolet passenger car on Main street and recognized her and knew she had been arrested the day before for driving while suspended. Cole was issued citations at the scene and released. During the stop, Dfc. Kellogg saw a 15 year old passenger from Grasonville with cigarettes in his possession. He was issued a civil citation and released to a parent who was called to the location.

NARRATIVE: Cpl. Carr saw a Toyota Tacoma towing a boat trailer with any running lights or brake lights. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Benjamin Waller of Stevensville. Cpl. Carr felt there were indicators present that Mr. Waller had been drinking and asked him to attempt several field sobriety tasks. During the tasks, Mr. Waller indicated he had several beers while fishing. As a result, Mr. Waller was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to Centreville and after Cpl. Carr issued the charging documents, Mr. Waller was released to a sober friend.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that suspect had been drinking earlier in the evening and became agitated with her when she refused to give him the keys to her 2006 Honda Pilot. Upon her refusal, he went outside and kicked the rear door causing a large dent. Damage was estimated at $450. Mr. Ireland was placed under arrest and charged with MDOP.
