INCIDENT: Theft & Driving Suspended
DATE/ TIME: 06/08/18 @ 10:52 PM
LOCATION: Rt 302 and Rt 313 in Barclay
ARRESTED: Charles Thomas Fitze, 34yo male of Sudlersville, MD
DETAILS: Deputy Bennett was conducting radar speed enforcement in the area of Rt 302 and Rt 300 in Barclay, when he observed a white passenger car traveling above the posted 30 mph speed limit. He conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was described as a white Pontiac G6, in the parking lot of the Barclay Depot. Upon making contact with the driver and conducting the standard computer checks, Deputy Bennett discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license and the tags on the vehicle were stolen. The driver was subsequently arrested and taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was later seen by the District Court Commissioner and released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.

INCIDENT: Burglary
DATE / TIME: 06/08/2018 approximately at 3:00 PM
LOCATION: 100 Blk of Walnut St Church Hill MD
VICTIM: 55 yo male of Church Hill MD
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the above address, in reference to a past burglary. Deputies learned that an individual gained entry into the residence through an unlocked door. A 39 inch Vizio television was stolen from an upstairs bedroom. The estimated value on the Vizio television was approximately $200. At this time this is an ongoing investigation. A suspect has also been identified.

Anyone with information that would assist with this investigation is asked to make contact with Dep. Sutton at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 06/09/2018 approximately at 12 PM
LOCATION: IHOP located in Chester, MD 21619
VICTIM: 28yo male of Ohio
ARRESTED: Nola Glenee Kammer, 56yo female of Chester, MD
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the IHOP located in Chester, MD for a theft of a wallet. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the victim, who stated he dropped his wallet in the IHOP and when he returned to look for it a manager returned it to him. The victim checked his wallet and noticed that $340 was missing. Deputies reviewed the video footage and later found an employee of IHOP, Nola Kammer, in possession of the stolen money. Kammer attempted to hide the money from the deputies. Kammer was placed under arrest and taken to see a commissioner.

INCIDENT: CDS Marijuana less than 10 grams
DATE/TIME: 06/09/2018 approximately at 3 PM
LOCATION: Watson Rd at Quail Run Rd Centreville MD
CHARGED: Ontario Brooks, 39yo of Centreville, MD
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Watson Rd and Quail Run Dr, when they observed a gray passenger car speeding in the area. Deputies conducted a stop on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, Ontario Brooks. Through a license check, deputies determined that Brook’s driver’s license was suspended. A K-9 unit was requested to respond to the location for a scan. A scan was completed which resulted in a search of the vehicle. Less than 10 grams of marijuana was located inside of the vehicle. Deputies issued Brooks a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams and issued traffic citations for driving on a suspended license.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 06/10/2018 approximately at 3:30 PM
LOCATION: Queenstown Outlets located in Queenstown, MD
VICTIM: Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein Stores
CHARGED: Damon Bracey, 43yo male of Owings Mills MD.
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the Queenstown outlets for a theft in progress. Deputies were informed that the male subject, Damon Bracey, entered a vehicle in the parking lot and was in the process of leaving the outlets. Deputies observed the vehicle at the entrance of the outlets and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, Bracey. Deputy’s investigations determined that there was $1000 worth of items stolen throughout the outlet. Bracey was placed under arrest and taken to see a commissioner.

LOCATION: Main Street, Church Hill
CHARGED: Kaitlin Lloyd, 19yo female of Millington MD
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Main Street in Church Hill. Deputies observed a black passenger car drive by and noticed that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. Contact was made with the driver, later identified as Kaitlin Lloyd. A K-9 unit was requested to respond to the location for a scan. A scan was completed which resulted in a search of the vehicle. Less than 10 grams of marijuana was located inside of the vehicle. A civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams was issued to Lloyd.

DETAILS: Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Main Street in Church Hill. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling over the posted speed limit. Contact was made with the driver, later identified as Danielle Miller. A K-9 unit was requested to respond to the location for a scan. A scan was completed which resulted in a search of the vehicle. Less than 10 grams of marijuana was located inside of the vehicle. A civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams was issued to Miller.
