INCIDENT:              Burglary / Theft

LOCATION:            2600 Block of Cox Neck Road, Chester

DETAILS:                                Owner of the residence, Terrell G. Wilson arrived at the location on Friday evening (6/5) around 2230 Hours. Victim stated he heard voices coming from the rear of the house. Since no one should be there, the victim entered and discovered a broken window and evidence that someone had been inside as he entered.

The only items missing from the location was three glass jars of change valued at an estimated $1000.

LOCATION:            700 Block of Granny Branch Road, Church Hill

DETAILS:                                Barbara Boone reported the theft of a 19” television and $60 dollars cash from the house. Victim advised after a prior burglary several weeks before, a trail camera had been installed where entry was made on that occasion.

Checking the camera after discovering this burglary, victim learned that the burglar was a juvenile family member. The juvenile was located, taken into custody and referred to the Department of Juvenile Services. Charges included three counts of 1st Degree Burglary, three counts of 3rd Degree Burglary, three Counts of 4th Degree Burglary, seven counts of Theft and one count of MDOP.

LOCATION:            RT 300 @ Benton Corner Road, Sudlersville

DETAILS:                                Investigation of a two vehicle accident indicated that a Nissan passenger car driven by Jose Guiterrez Roblero (22) of Kennedyville, MD had crossed the center line and collided with a GMC SUV driven by Gerald W. Graham of Camden Wyoming DE.  Both vehicles incurred moderate damage.

While interviewing Roblero, he stated that he did not have a license and had an odor of alcohol on his breath. Based on observations he was placed under arrest for DWI at which time he began to complain of injuries. He was also charged with driving without a license, operating an uninsured vehicle and other traffic offenses.

Both drivers were transported to Chester River Hospital via ambulance. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

LOCATION:            100 Block of Main Street, Stevensville

DETAILS:                               Eric Titz reported that just after having a tenant leave the house, the residence was broken into and several items taken. The former tenants belongings were placed on a porch for him to pick up and the same day there were picked up, the burglary occurred. Some of the items missing were two 32” televisions and $500 in currency. Case remains under investigation.

DETAILS:                                Michael Hamner reported the theft of two shotguns, two Remington 887 Weatherby models from his residence. The theft occurred sometime since December 2014. Victim advised several persons during that time have rented rooms from him and now have moved out. The guns were valued at $1600.

LOCATION:            200 Shoals Road, Crumpton

DETAILS:                                Victim Jenefer R. Russum reported leaving her I-Phone 5S, a Lenova laptop and files from work in a camo bag. The items were last seen on Friday night (6/5) in her van parked in her driveway. Items were valued at over $1000. No damage occurred to her van.

INCIDENT:              DWI / Trespassing / Reckless Endangerment

LOCATION:            800 Castle Marina Road, Chester

DETAILS:                                Deputies responded to location for shots fired in the area. On arrival they stopped and heard several rapid fired shots coming from the field beyond the gate. Finding the gate unlocked they went towards the area where shots were heard. Eventually a truck with four occupants was located in the field and was stopped. The four were removed from the truck, a Toyota Tundra and a loaded semi-auto AR-15 type rifle was located in the passenger area.

The driver, Robert Allen Ferree (29) of Chester stated the truck and rifle belonged to him. Ferree also admitted that it was his idea to fire the weapon and he had had a few beers.

Ferree was placed under arrest and charged with DWI, trespassing and reckless endangerment. After processing he was released by a District Court Commissioner on a $25000 unsecured bond. Charges are pending for the other three subjects. The weapon was seized and held in evidence.

LOCATION:            100 Block of Taylor Drive, Queenstown

DETAILS:                Patricia Sullivan reported arriving home to find two vehicles in her driveway. When she “honked” her horn, a male exited one of the cars and confronted her. When a female exited the car and started towards her, Sullivan decided to call 911.  While on the phone, the female took her phone and hit her in the face. When she attempted to get the phone back, the female tried to hit her again, pulled her hair and ripped out one of her earrings.

The male pulled the female back into the car and they left. The phone was tracked and later located near RT 18 & RT 50 and was cracked and damaged. The phone was valued at $600.

The female was identified as Brittany Lynn Barrett (24) of Grasonville. On 6.10 she was arrested and charged with Robbery, Theft, Assault and MDOP. She was held until a $25,000 bond was posted.

DETAILS:                William Tulowitzky reported he had parked his vehicle on the evening of 6/10 at the end of Corsica Neck Road and went running. Victim stated he had left his wallet in the car which was unlocked. On the morning of 6/11 he found the contents of his wallet on the rear seat and realized that the Gucci wallet and his prescription medication was missing. He also advised that the vehicle door and trunk area had been dented.

The stolen items had an estimated value of $400 and $300 of damage was incurred.

DETAILS:                Zachary Williams of Grasonville reported on June 8th, he had several friends “hanging out” at his residence.  Williams stated he had left $2000 in Cash and Checks on a shelf with several wine bottles. On Wednesday he went to get the cash/checks to deposit it in the bank, it was missing.

LOCATION:            Nichols Manor and Monroe Manor Roads, Stevensville

DETAILS:                Deputies were handling an investigation of a two vehicle accident in the area and directing traffic.  The incident involved a red Volkswagen that had struck a parked vehicle. A male who appeared to be intoxicated was near the vehicle. A witness stated seeing a blonde haired woman leaving the scene on foot. A check of the driver’s seat revealed the seat to be in a position for a person much shorter than the male at the scene. A check of the MVA records showed the male and his wife as owners of the Volkswagen. The witness identified the female leaving the scene on foot as the co-owner of the car. Attempts to contact the female were unsuccessful. Investigation continues.

At that time there were three Sheriff’s patrol vehicles with emergency lights activated.

A white Ford pickup was observed approaching and was seen accelerating towards the accident scene. The driver continued past the deputy directing traffic, slammed on its brakes and stopped just feet from the accident.

The driver, Darin Leroy Eichelberger (43) of Stevensville appeared to be confused and slurring his speech. There was a strong odor of alcohol coming from the interior of the truck. He was requested to attempt several field sobriety tasks and during the attempts stated “just lock me up”.

He was placed under arrest, charged with DWI and later released at his residence.

LOCATION:            RT 301 @ Cherry Lane, Queenstown

DETAILS:                A black Mercedes was observed weaving from both lanes going onto the rubble strips and then beyond onto the grass. The car was stopped and the driver (sole occupant) was identified as Deborah Lynn Corcoran (60) of Annapolis. Driver had an odor of alcohol on her breath and was asked to complete several field sobriety tasks. After observing her attempts, she was placed under arrest and charged with DWI. She was later released from Sheriff’s Headquarters to a sober friend.

LOCATION:            Castle Marina Road @ RT 18, Chester

DETAILS:                A white Saturn was observed traveling on the wrong side of the road, making a sudden turn and driving on the grass when stopped by the deputy. As the deputy started to exit his vehicle, the Saturn started to move again eventually stopping in a nearby Restaurant parking lot.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Terrilynn Satterfield (48) of Dover, DE. The deputy noted an odor of alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. When asked if she had been drinking she replied “All day, I’m drunk and shouldn’t be driving”

After attempting Field Sobriety Tasks, she was placed under arrest for DWI. After citations were issued, she was released to a sober family member at MdTA Headquarters at the Bay Bridge.

DETAILS:                Michelle Elburn reported the theft of a White & Red 2015 Yamaha YZ 250 F Dirt Bike from a shed on the property. The bike was last seen on the evening of June 14th and valued at $7500.

LOCATION:            2311 Bloomingdale Road, Centreville

DETAILS:                An Ericsson Wireless Communications employee reported the theft of 20 Alcatel Lucent batteries from the site sometime in the past three months. The batteries had a value of $16,000. Investigation indicates that no force was used to enter the property and the suspect may have known the code to enter.

LOCATION:            RT 18 @ Dominion Road, Chester

DETAILS:                A female was seen walking in the pawn shop in Chester and the deputy recognized her as Amanda Lynn Strade (28) of Stevensville. The deputy also knew there were two warrants on file for the subject for Failure to Appear in court in January.

As the deputy pulled into the store’s parking lot, Strade began to run, crossing Dominion Road and then being stopped in a nearby sporting goods store parking lot.

Strade denied her identity and stated she didn’t have any ID. She allowed the deputy to check her purse. While there was no ID, there was a syringe with suspected heroin, two capsules with suspected heroin and a cook spoon with burn marks.

Strade also stated she had purchased a bus ticket to go to South Carolina. She was transported instead to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. A District Court Commissioner held her on a $100,000 Full Bond.

DETAILS:                Royal Farms Employee reported that a white male had paid in cash for gas and then picked up a milkshake, sandwich and a cheesecake and left without paying for those items. The items were valued at $7.

The man was described as about 6’ and 175-190 pounds with a blondish colored beard driving a red Ford Focus.

LOCATION:            100 Block of S. Church Street, Sudlersville

DETAILS:                Thomas August reported being away for a couple days at a concert and upon returning found his home had been burglarized.

Victim reported a black Dell laptop, a white X-Box 360, 40 misc. X-Box games, a black Nintendo WI with 20 games, and a slim version PlayStation 2 Black with about 15 games. In addition a safe was missing and reported to contain $2000 cash, personal documents and various gold and collector coins, along with an assortment of $2 bills. The loss was estimated at almost $22,000.

The case has been assigned to the Criminal Investigation Unit.

DETAILS:                Victim Brenda Smith reported she and her husband had ridden bikes to the community pool and left the bikes unlocked in the bike rack. When they returned about 1 ½ hours later, one of the bikes was gone.

The bike is described as a 1992 red specialized bike with a mirror and a black pouch attachment valued at $300.

LOCATION:            100 Block of Love Point Road, Stevensville

DETAILS:                The first employee of Stuart Contractors arrived at location for work and discovered a shed had been broken into over the weekend. Items taken included a new Bosch Brute Force jack hammer, an orange & black Rigid generator, an orange & white Stihl chain saw and a Stihl weed eater.

The items were valued at $2,750. Case remains open.

DATE / TIME:         06/22/2015 @ 0054 Hours

LOCATION:            100 Block of Taylor Road, Centreville

DETAILS:                Deputies responded to location for a child custody dispute between a grandmother and father.  A short time after deputies arrived, the mother of the children showed up. With both parents unwilling to calm down the male was placed in a patrol car while they attempted to talk with the mother.  Neither party could produce any court documents to determine custody.

The female continued to argue and scream so a MSP trooper who had arrived was asked to detain her in his car.  When deputies went to talk with the male, the mother broke the trooper’s windshield and got out of the troopers car and ran across the yard before being detained again.

The male, Joshua W. Turner advised he had the children that day and that the mother, Katie Elizabeth Timms (25) of Sudlersville had earlier assaulted him and there was a small cut on his nose & cheek.

Katie Timms was placed under arrest for assault and held by a District Court Commissioner until a $10,000 bail was posted. Additional charges are pending.

LOCATION:            700 Block of Roberts Station Road, Church Hill

DETAILS:                Albert Hampton reported the theft of numerous hand tools from his shop and it appeared that there was no forced entry into the building.

Later in the day, the victim reported additional items missing and that his daughter had also been burglarized early in the week. The estimated theft in this case was over $5000.

A check of pawn records indicated there were several transactions of items being pawned matching the stolen items and a “hold” was placed with the shops.

Case remains open and under investigation.

DETAILS:                Brittany Hampton reported someone had entered her residence and had stolen an Acer laptop valued at $200 sometime between 6/19 and 6/23rd.  Victim stated she had located a hat belonging to a family member in the residence. She also reported that a family member was seen in a pawn shop with several other persons on 6/22.

LOCATION:            Centreville, MD

DETAILS:                Natalie Johnston of Centreville reported missing her credit card and $20 from her wallet and that the card had been used for a $211 purchase at a Safeway in Annapolis.

Dfc. Goodman contacted the store and the manager on duty was able to locate the suspect on surveillance footage. The suspect was a white heavy set female and appeared to be wearing a work style vest. Checking a second camera view, Dfc. Goodman thought the vest had a logo, possibly Pet Smart.

With a Pet Smart in the same shopping center, Goodman checked with the victim who advised she had been in that store recently and that a clerk had allowed her and her son to hold a puppy.

Goodman was able to identify the suspect by the Store Manager and victim. AA County police were contacted to assist. As a result a criminal summons was issued for Brittney Noelle Ramirez (26) of Annapolis in Anne Arundel for six counts of credit card use and Identity Theft. An Arrest Warrant was also issued in Queen Anne’s County for two counts of Identity theft.

LOCATION:            Harbor Drive, Chester

DETAILS:                A Nissan X-Terra was stopped for a minor equipment violation and the driver was identified as Robert Elliott Emory Jr. (55) of Chester. Due to an odor of alcohol and slurred speech, Mr. Emory was asked to attempt several field sobriety tasks. Based on his attempts and statements, he was placed under arrest for DWI. After citations were issued, he was released at the scene to a sober family member.

LOCATION:            100 Block of Gloucester Road, Queenstown

DETAILS:                Ritchie Somers reported upon returning home he discovered several dirt bikes and ATVs missing from his garage. A 50cc white & red Honda dirt bike, a blue 50cc Kazumo 4-wheeler and a blue 110cc Kazumo are believed to have been taken sometime within the past 3 days. The loss was estimated at $950 and no damage was reported.

DETAILS:                Josh Melius reported coming home after several days away he found his residence had been broken into and $500 was missing. The victim suspected a friend who knew where he kept cash and recently called him wanting money.

LOCATION:            500 Block of Buckingham Drive, Stevensville

DETAILS:                Residents heard glass being broken and saw a male in a black hooded sweatshirt by the 2013 Hyundai, who then fled west on Chenowith drive. Heather Testerman advised her Coach Purse with her ID and cash was missing.

Damage was estimated at $500 while the purse and contents was valued at $620.

DETAILS:                Victim reported the theft of a blue, white and grey wooden sign with “Serenity Cove” and a white bird from the entrance of his driveway. The sign was last seen on June 26th and was valued at $400.
