INCIDENT: Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS)
DATE / TIME: 9/12/18 at approximately 12:22 pm
LOCATION: Queen Anne’s County District Court Parking Lot
ARRESTED/CHARGED: Jarek Brock, 25yo male from Chester, MD
CHARGES: 1 Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
DISPOSITION: Released on civil citation
DETAILS: While in the area of the District Court parking lot, Deputy Patikowski observed a maroon 1999 Nissan Altima operating with a broken brake light. Deputy Patikowski made contact with the driver, identified as Jarek Brock, who stated that his license was suspended. Deputy Patikowski also detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. The driver was issued a repair order for the broken brake light, a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams, and a traffic citation for possessing a suspended license.

LOCATION: Route 19 and Route 213 in Church Hill, MD
ARRESTED/CHARGED: Nathaniel Lyles, 37yo male
CHARGES: 1 Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
DISPOSITION: Released on civil citation
DETAILS: Deputy First Class (DFC) Jones stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation on Route 19 and Route 213. The driver was identified as Nathaniel Lyles who stated that his license was suspended. DFC Jones also detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. The driver was issued a warning for the speed violation, a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams, and a traffic citation for possessing a suspended license.

LOCATION: 200 Block of Lently Farm Lane, Centreville, MD
VICTIM: 55yo female from Centreville, MD
DETAILS: Sergeant Green responded to the above address in reference to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspects made entry into her 2017 white Chevy Suburban and stole her purse. The purse was described as a leather Dooney and Burke purse with a Mickey Mouse theme on it. DETAILS: Deputy Barlow responded to the above address in reference to a theft. The victim advised that an unknown suspect stole the hubcaps off two of his work vans on September 12, 2018. The victim advised that an unknown suspect damaged the rear window of her blue 2006 Honda Pilot. VICTIM: 44yo female from Stevensville, MD
DETAILS: Deputy Bush responded to the above address in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim advised that an unknown suspect damaged the rear window of her black 2012 Honda Pilot. The victim added that her purse was stolen from the vehicle. The victim described the purse as a silver, medium to large size, Vera Wang purse. The purse is valued at approximately $100. DISPOSITION: Released on civil citation
DETAILS: Deputy First Class (DFC) Prince stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation on Main Street at Castle Marina Road. While making contact with the driver, later identified as Daijah Wiley, DFC Prince detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana. Wiley was issued a warning for the speed violation and a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams.

INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence
DATE / TIME: 9/16/2018 approximately 2:13 am
LOCATION: Wells Cove Rd at Main Street in Grasonville MD
ARRESTED: Joseph Kerner, 25yo male from Grasonville, MD
DETAILS: While conducting traffic enforcement, Deputy First Class (DFC) Prince observed a gray 2018 Toyota Tacoma parked in the roadway with its lights and horn activated. As DFC Prince approached the vehicle, he observed the driver, later identified as Joseph Kerner, punching the steering wheel of the vehicle. While speaking with Kerner, DFC Prince detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Kerner’s breath. DFC Prince conducted standardized field sobriety tests on Kerner. Based on the test results, Kerner was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Kerner was later released to a sober party.

INCIDENT: Driving Under the Influence
DATE / TIME: 9/16/2018 approximately 2:00 am
LOCATION: Jetty Bar, 201 Wells Cove Rd, Grasonville, MD
ARRESTED: Michael Luttrell, 41yo male from Stevensville, MD
DETAILS: While in the area of Wells Cove Road, Deputy Thomas observed a white Ford 4×4 pickup truck parked on top of the curb located in front of the Jetty Bar. Deputy Thomas also observed the driver, later identified as Michael Luttrell rocking back and forth in the vehicle. Luttrell advised Deputy Thomas that he consumed alcohol prior to getting into the vehicle. Deputy Thomas conducted standardized field sobriety tests on Luttrell. Based on the test results, Luttrell was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Luttrell was later released to a sober party.
