INCIDENT: Bomb Threat

LOCATION: Kent Island High School

DETAILS: On April 17, 2018 at approximately 1004hrs the school resource officer was notified of a threating message inside the girl’s bathroom. Several allied agencies were notified to assist with K-9 teams to conduct a search of the school. Disruption to the normal school activities were kept to a minimum, a brief evacuation was ordered and a search was conducted of the school with negative results. The investigation is continuing by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit.
