NARRATIVE: Deputies were called to the residence for a domestic argument. One parent wanted the birth certificates of the children and was holding all of the vehicle keys not allowing the other to leave. Deputies were able to negoiate the situation and have one set of keys allowing the spouse to leave. No assault was visible. Both parties provided with victim brochures.

NARRATIVE: Citizen reported seeing a bicycle left overnight near the Acme store. Another person advised it may have been there for two days. The owner can claim the bike by calling Mr. Mark Brooks at the Sheriff’s Office – (410) 758-0770 extension 1255.

INCIDENT: Burglary

ARREST: Jason Allen Beavers (34) of College Park, MD
Charges: Theft over $1000, Burglary (2 Counts), MDOP (2 Counts, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct
NARRATIVE: Victim advised she was away for several days but her roommate was at the residence. On 4/2 the roommate left to pick her up at the airport and upon returning they found the garage door kicked in and several items missing or damaged, including a laptop computer, a shower head and two additional computer towers. A wall mirror and a bathroom had been damaged as well. Investigation of the burglary revealed only Ms. Dukovich as the victim, while the roommate and children’s property were left undisturbed.
The roommate stated that he had posted on a social media site that he was heading to BWI to pick up Ms. Dukovich.
On April 3, deputies were again called to the residence. Ms. Dukovich reported that she was in the process of a divorce and when her husband came to get the children he had entered the house, dumped her clothing in the floor and threw her mail on the floor. She also stated that her sister had contacted her husband and that he gave her sister one of the computer towers taken during the previous night’s burglary.
As a result, Jason A. Beavers was charged on two warrants for burglary, theft and harassment. He was arrested on April 5th and placed on a $15,000 bond which was posted by a family member. He was also served a protection order to stay away from Ms. Dukovich.

CHARGE: FORD: Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia (2 Counts), and traffic citations for Failure to display valid registration, displaying tags issued to another vehicle, Unlawful display of registration plates, driving an Unregistered vehicle.
LUCAS: Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia (2 Counts)
NARRATIVE: Sgt. Jones noticed a Volkswagen Golf passenger car with multi-purpose tags. A check indicated the tags belonged on a Chevrolet Van and not the VW. Jones stopped the car and identified the driver as Shane Ford and the passenger as Brian Lucas. Further computer checks showed the car had not be currently tagged for several years. Arrangements were made to tow the car, and while awaiting the tow truck a syringe with suspected heroin was located in the car. A further search of the car resulted in with suspected CDS paraphernalia with suspected heroin and cocaine residue.
Both subjects were placed under arrest and processed at the Sheriff’s Headquarters. At an initial appearance both subjects were released on their own recognizance by a District Count Commissioner.

VICTIM: William F. Warpinski of Centreville
NARRATIVE: Victim reported finding a window at the location broken out and entry had been made to the building. Further inspection indicated that three long guns were missing, ( a Remington 11-87, a Remington 870, and a Savage Youth Model .22), a yellow 2-seat Go Cart, two Garmin GPS units and a Samsung cell phone. The theft amount was estimated at $2,200 and damage at $150.
The suspects are described as three white males possibly driving a maroon SUV seen in the area around 8:30 to 9:00 PM. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (410) 758-0770 or by email at sheriffinfo@qac.org .

CHARGE: Telephone Misuse
NARRATIVE: School Resource Deputy – Dfc. Chris Parkinson was contacted by QA Department of Emergency Services and advised they had received a 911 hang-up from a cell phone. Prior to hanging up, the female caller had stated “Help – I’m being raped”.
Further investigation resulted in locating the phone in a class room. With the assistance of school officials, it was learned that the female had wanted to use a classmates cell phone to play a game. Upon finding the phone locked, she hit the emergency 911 button thinking it would unlock the phone. When EMS (911) called back the phone rang while class was in progress and the owner turned it over to the teacher.
The phone was seized as evidence and the female was referred to Juvenile Justice.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that her television, surround sound, Blue Ray player and $280 cash was missing from her apartment. No forced entry was located at the residence. Victim also reported that there was a friend staying at the house and that she had called him to advise no one would be there. When she returned she discovered the items missing. At this time the “friend” had not be located and interviewed about the theft. Items missing were valued at $1,480.

NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to location for a report of a husband and wife fighting. On arrival the two reported the argument was over a roommate of three years. One wanted him to move out and the other refused. There was also a report of a bottle being thrown by it could not be determined who threw it. No visible injuries to any of the parties were observed and none of the subjects wanted charges.

NARRATIVE: Mr. James Joiner reported finding the two soda machines located at CJ’s Automotive had been damaged overnight. The damage on both machines was the dollar bill changer. It was unknown how much cash was taken, but damage was estimated at $750.
