NARRATIVE: Victim reported parking her car in the K-Mart parking area and went into the store. When she returned a short time later she found her Garmin GPS, $20 and a bag of old prescription medication missing from the Toyota she was driving. No damage to the vehicle was found. The loss was estimated at $170.

NARRATIVE: Employee from Choptank Electric reported that on April 4th he disconnected the power to the address for non-payment and placed a lock on the power box. Today he responded to the address and found that power had been “rigged” to turn the power back on and plastic tabs to prevent electric flow had been removed. The approximate cost of electric usage and tampering was set at $368.00
The customer at 112 Cee Jay Road was identified as David Chadwick. On June 12th a Criminal Summons was issued and service is pending.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS

NARRATIVE: It was reported that there were two subjects at the beach area using CDS in the Porta-Potty at the location. Deputy Neall responded and located the subjects, a 28 year old male from Queenstown and a 23 year old female from Henderson. When asked for ID, the female advised hers was in her purse. While retrieving the ID, a baggie with a syringe and a spoon with suspected heroin was spotted. A further search resulted in another syringe and spoon with residue being located on the male subject. Both subjects were released at the scene pending results of Lab results.

NARRATIVE: Deputy Elliott responded to the location for a single vehicle rollover with injuries. On arrival the five occupants of the 2003 Oldsmobile where outside the car and refusing medical attention. Investigation indicated that the driver, Baudelia Lopez-Garcia did not have a valid license, however the vehicle was legally tagged and had insurance. After charges, she was released on her own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that when he went retrieve and item and moved his gun bag it felt light and discovered his Stainless Steel .357 Taurus revolver to be missing. The last time the gun was seen was sometime last year. It’s value is $500.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported being away from home for several days, returning on the ninth. On today’s date she realized that someone had entered her garage and stolen a gas powered DeWalt generator, an electric Craftsman Hedge Trimmer, a 10 foot ladder and 10 red crab baskets. A riding mower in the garage was damaged after being hit, possibly by the suspect’s vehicle. The loss was estimated at just under $4000.

NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to a report of a female attempting to walk into traffic. On arrival it was observed that a male subject was holding the female to the ground in the driveway. When attempting to calm the woman and transport her, she began to yell, striking the deputy twice and resisted being restrained. While being transported she began to kick the passenger side window and had to be further restrained. She was left in the care of Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

VICTIM: Angela D. Santo of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to location for an assault in progress. On arrival the victim, Angela Santo reported being assaulted by her sister’s boyfriend during an argument between her sister and the boyfriend. On arrival the male suspect had left the area. Victim reported being shoved, minor laceration to the shoulder and striking her head. EMS responded and treated her at the residence. A search of the area failed to locate the suspect. The following evening the suspect was located at the May Lane address and no one there was interested in pressing charges. Case closed.

NARRATIVE: Parent of the juvenile reported following an agument involving a cell phone, the girl had ran away during the night, sometime after midnight. Deputies completed a Missing Person Report and entered her into NCIC and gave area police a BOLO with the girls information. At 0730 hours the girl was located asleep in a nearby camper. She was returned to the parents and referred to Juvenile Services.

LOCATION: Cloverfields near Nichols Manor, Stevensville
ARREST: Male (48) of Stevensville – Pending
NARRATIVE: Deputy Harris was transporting a prisoner to headquarters and while stopped at May Lane & Nichols Manor intersection, was nearly struck by a Dodge pickup going at a high rate of speed. Deputy Harris activated his emergency equipment stopping the truck as it was now driving on the shoulder. The driver exited the truck and attempted to walk but could only stagger. The male had a strong odor of alcohol and had soiled himself. The driver was in a condition that Field Sobriety Tasks were not offered. When Deputy Harris attempted to take the man in custody he resisted and was taken to the ground. The man had incurred several small lacerations to his hands and was taken to Queen Anne’s Emergency Room for treatment of the cuts and due to his level of intoxication. Charges are pending Blood Chemical Test results.

NARRATIVE: It was reported that a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier had been broken into and the ignition “popped” in an attempt to steal it. A small rear window had also been broken. Security video shows a white male in a green shirt and white cap around the car on June 5th. A suspect vehicle driven by the man appears to be a white extended Dodge Ram Van. Investigation remains Open.

NARRATIVE: K-Mart Security reported having a shoplifter in custody. Security reported that the suspect, Patricia Hudson was observed placing several items in a cart and completed the purchase of them. When stopped she was found to have 22 items, mostly greeting cards and cosmetics secreted on her person that were unpaid for. The unpaid items had a value of $135. Hudson was transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing and charges.

NARRATIVE: Dfc. Ambrose responded to an accident involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a Volkswagen passenger car. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Maximo W. Jauregui (51) of Silver Spring who was flown to Shock Trauma. The Volkswagen was driven by Pooja Datta (22) of Queenstown who was not reported as injured. During the accident investigation a wooden “one hitter” device with suspected marijuana was seized from the motorcycle. Accident remains under investigation.

NARRATIVE: Deputy Matthews observed a gold Chrysler Van speeding on Dominion road and stopped the van near Newtown Road. The driver was issued a warning for speeding and consented to a search of the van resulting in the seizure of a “shaker box” with suspected marijuana. The front seat passenger claimed ownership and was released at the scene. On 6/19 a Criminal Summons for Jarek Armel Brock (19) of Chester was issued for Possession of Marijuana which is pending service.
