LOCATION:         110 Pfalzgroff Road, Millington

VICTIM:               Julie Edward of Millington

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported returning home and finding her front window unlocked and the screen damaged. Victim also discovered upon entry that the dead bolted door had been unlocked from the inside. Victim was unable to locate any missing items. Damages to the window & screen were estimated at $75.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that sometime between 0830 and 0900 Hours unknown person(s) had stolen her Coach purse containing a pink Hello Kitty Clutch, prescription medication, a Garmin GPS and two IPod/IPod chargers from her unlocked Hummer. Items were valued at $605.00

VICTIM:               Carla V. Stein of Carpentaria, CA

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported leaving her purse at the Narrows Restaurant after having dinner there. When she contacted the restaurant the following day no one had seen the purse. Victim checked her credit card agencies and discovered that her cards had been used to purchase gas and food at McDonalds in Glen Burnie. The black Anne Klein purse and contents were valued at less than $100.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported her purse stolen from her unlocked Honda SUV while at the Post Office in Grasonville. The black leather Coach purse and contents were valued at $480.

LOCATION:         200 Block of Ackerman Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM  :              Edith Justice & Oliver Adams of Stevensville          

 

NARRATIVE:        Victims stated they returned home at 2 PM and discovered their kitchen window had been broken and portions of the residence had been ransacked. Missing from the residence was a 40” flat screen television, a large amount of coins, a ladies gold and diamond band ring, a ruby & gold necklace, a gold cross necklace, a man’s gold & diamond ring, a red sapphire ladies gold ring and several bottles of prescription medication. The estimated value of items stolen is over $7800.

 

Residents in the area reported seeing a dark blue 90’s style van in the area at the time of the burglary. The case has been forwarded to CID.

VICTIM:               Deborah Palmer of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported her debit card missing after reviewing her bank account and discovering several purchases had been made without her knowledge. The card had been used at several local stores and restaurants in the northern area of QA.  The charges totaled $150. Suspects using the card at one location are described as an African American male ( about 5’10” 230 pounds dark complexion and a thin beard) accompanied by a white male ( about 5’11” 170 Pounds) driving a red passenger car.

LOCATION:         Centreville, MD

VICTIM:               Veronica L. Fenwick of Centreville

ARREST:               Pending

CHARGE:              Providing False Name to avoid Prosecution

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported checking her name in the Maryland Judiciary Case Search and saw an entry for getting a ticket for failure to display license in July of 2011. Victim advised she had never been stopped and issued that citation and also reported that a former friend had used her name & information in the past. A check of the citation indicated that the vehicle stopped wads a 2004 Kia passenger car registered to the former friend. Charges were requested and a District Court Commissioner issued a Criminal Summons for the offender. Service of the CS is pending.

LOCATION:         800 Block of Chester Drive in Grasonville

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that her oil company had called her advising that her tank at the Chester Drive location was empty, when it should have been at 275 gallons as it was filled recently and the house is vacant. The oil was valued at $803.00

DATE / TIME:      06/01/2012 @ 0230 Hours

LOCATION:         KI High School, Stevensville

VICTIM:               QA Board of Education

ARREST:               Cameron John Rich (18) of Stevensville

CHARGE:              2 Counts of MDOP

 

NARRATIVE:        Increased patrols at the area high schools were being made after the recent vandalism occurring there. Dfc. Rickard was checking the KIHS and discovered two African American makes rolling trash barrels in the student parking lot. Bleachers had also been moved to block the roadway / parking lot access. Upon seeing the marked Sheriff’s Patrol car both subject ran from the scene in different directions. Dfc. Rickard located a 2000 Oldsmobile parked nearby that appeared to be out of place as well as some recently painted areas on a shed near the football field, sidewalks, trash barrels and an entry door to the school. The owners of the car were contacted and advised their son was in possession of the car and texted him to come home immediately. The suspect was located on his way home and identified as one of the suspect Dfc. Rickard attempted to stop.

 

Damages were estimated at $700. The suspect Cameron Rich was charged and later released by a District Court Commissioner. Additional persons may be charged in this incident.

INCIDENT:           THEFT from Vehicles

DATE / TIME:      06/02/2012 @ 1005 Hours

LOCATION:         Old Love Point Park, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Kaylene Kovach of Stevensville and Marti Robinson of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Both victims had parked at the park to watch a little league game and during that time someone had smashed the window on their cars and stolen their purses. The Kovach vehicle was a 2007 Audi and taken was a green & white Tommy Hilfiger purse containing a wallet with several cards, some cash, prescription medicine and a silver heart shaped necklace containing the victims mother’s ashes. Items were valued at $300. The Robinson vehicle was a 2008 Ford Edge and taken was her tan Fossil purse with cash and credit cards valued at $150. Also in the purse were a pair of Coach reading glasses valued at $600.

 

Witnesses reported seeing a 18-20 year old white male in the area who was picked up by a red car, possibly a Camaro. Persons on the nearby Cross Island Trail also reported seeing two males, one dressed in black on a moped carrying a black backpack.
