PRESS RELEASE

INCIDENT:                  Traffic stop with drug arrest       

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:       September 10, 2017                 7:00pm

LOCATION:                 U.S. Route 301 near  Rolling Bridge Road Centreville

NARRATIVE:              Deputy stopped vehicle for registration violation. Deputy made contact with the occupants and observed indicators of possible CDS activity. A K-9 scan of the vehicle was completed and eventually led to the arrest of both occupants.  Both parties were charged with violations including possession of cocaine, heroin and other controlled pills. Traffic violation citations were also issued. Both parties were taken to the court commissioner and released on unsecured bonds.

INCIDENT:                  Malicious Destruction of Property

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:       September 10, 2017                        9:00pm

LOCATION:                 800 block of Romancoke Road Stevensville – The American Legion

NARRATIVE:              Deputy responded to the American Legion for a report of Malicious Destruction of Property. Upon the deputy’s arrival he made contact with victim.  The victim stated someone had “keyed” used a metal object to scrape scratches into the paint of his vehicle at some point during the evening. No other property was damaged. This case is currently under investigation.  Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact Deputy Carnaggio at 410-758-0770 ext. 1274
